That visa category is currently banned by a P residential Proclamation until March 31st. Meaning he can't get a visa, no interview letter until sometime after it has been lifted.

maham i am still quite confident that you will get your visa on day of your interview when ever you got your IL please let me know i will guide you step by step documents they needed and question they may ask it as i trained to my wife she got her visa with my kids on day same day just less then 4 minute interview

Thanks to allah the Allmighty. Just received the IL schedule for 5th December. PD august 9th, 10. I wish the same joy to the rest of Vj family that are waiting for this momentum. My prediction for Dec is September 1st or beyond. Ameen

yes it is a problem.u cant leave usa for more than 6 months.for extra time u need written permission for living outside usa.and u have to tell a specific reason

@ 06:00am reached convention center stand in cue for shuttle ticket which is 500 rupees it was long cue looks like fish market got ticket @ 06:50 and again stand in cue for shuttle going to American consulate @ 07:25 reached at consulate again stand in cue of immigrant visa 3 times security check and then @ 08:05 went inside after 25 minutes her named called @ window # 2 asked for submit any more documents so she did the tax transcript of 2010 including W-2 then she sit again and wait for her turn @ 09:55 she called by white CO (was in good mood).

u didnt do big crime and us ambassy are not stupid lot of people do this and its not big crime
my husband went to see lawyer for amigration in usa and she said no worry this happen all time and all people do
she say now we r doing right thing and if our marriage is real one we will be fine
u r not the only one
and u will not get denied
dont listen to people here they only scare eachother and give advice and information from google
if they give u tourist visa and u went to usa and u over stayed there after u applied thats will need waiver but now u will be fine and u will see

Dear maham yes you are right to some extend all consulate and even us embassy in Islamabad were close today but its only for today due to protest announce by the some religious political parties and govt of pakistan the violence was expected during these rally thats why its all were announced close for fri spet 21 they will resume their normal services from Monday specially us embassy Islamabad. you should nothing to worry about because your are not current and your interview has not been scheduled yet. You most likely become current in dec so that time every thing would be fine even i am not woryy although i have been scheduled for october 24 because its still too far away and situation will calm down in a week.
