  1. Salam^

any one can tel me that if any 1 apply for spouse visa:and in all processing only the petitioner receve all notifications, mails and any thing or any instruction from Us & NVC and from beneficiary contry embassy..?

And spouse only receive interview and medical schedule letter and then visa?

petitioner will receive all mails, emails and texts from USCIS. On NVC stage you have to register your email and your wife/husband's email and both of you will receive emails from them. Beneficiary will receive the interview letter and visa.

  2. Hi everyone, I've been on this site many times and finally, today I decided to sign up and ask some questions.

I am a US citizen and I am filing the I-130 for my husband who lives in Pakistan. I had some questions about the I-130 form and the G325A form.

    1. For the I-130 form- question

    2. For my husband's G325A- He has been in the US before. He has been going back and forth between the US and Pakistan for the past 5 years (he had a student visa but now it's expired). What addresses should he write in the section where it says "applicant's residence last five years"? Only the places he's lived in the US, only the places he's lived in Pakistan, or every place he's lived (US and Pakistan)?

Every place should be mentioned. If he had lived in more than one city in pakistan for more than 6 months, he needs to get police clearance certificate from those cities but that is for 2nd stage

    3. For my G325A- In the section where it says "if your native alphabet is in other than Roman letters, write your name in your native alphabet", what do I write here? Now that I'm a US citizen, should I write N/A here or should I write my name in Urdu (the national language of Pakistan and the first language that I learned)?

Both of us ( me & my wife)didnt write our names in urdu and left it blank.

  3. HI VJ members!

1-My interview is in UAE.Any body how to get police certificate from Pakistan. Somebody you can get from your District police office. My question is it need to be attested from frogien office in Pakistan?

2-How to get Unmarried certificate which departments it need to be attested?

    thanks

First of all you or your family member should visit your local police station and ask them for the police clearance certificate. They will ask for some of your details and then after couple of days they will issue the certificate. it will be a plus point if you will get it attested by foreign office. If you have ever lived in any place other than Kharian for more than six months, you need to get the police certificate from that place as well. After that you should visit the police station in police head office ( guess its near al wasl road because they provide you with the english one) and take it to your interview.

About the marital certificate you have to contact Nadra for that. YOu need more information, inbox me.

  4. You should start calling NVC instead of calling USCIS. Typically it takes about 3 to 4 weeks to reach NVC and they may take upto 2 more weeks to issue a case number for your file. Get used to talking to rude NVC operators now ;)

First called NVC and the operator told me that they did not receive anything yet. she also said that i should give them at least 10 business days.

  5. I woke up to TWO approvals this morning. Originally I thought Nigeria still allowed the K3 visa so I went the route of completing the I-130 which was forwarded to the California Service Center. When I received the NOA1 from them, I completed the I-129F as instructed for marriage (not fiance) and received an NOA1 from them with that petition going to the Texas Service Center.

Both peititions were approved EARLY THIS MORNING! I woke up to text messages and emails! (Yes, I registed on the USCIS website for electronic notifications).

    I'm ECSTATIC!

Congratulations. i got mine in 109 days.

Everything will start flying now. start preparing for NVC.

  6. U dont need any translation once you receive your registered marriage certificate from molvi who did your nikkah send it to nadra and have it registered. cos even nadra in islamabad will have your marriage record once you receive your nikkah nama from nadra it will be like birth certificate it will be in urdu and english both and you don't need any translation extra. If u want to also have it registered from foreign office it will be more authentic but remember nadra provides only one copy make sure you make copies

In Feb nadra wasnt giving the english certificate in ISLAMABAD. maybe they have started it recently.

  7. Hi zara,

You do not need translation on Rupee paper. You just need to go to court area and you will find many translators over there. They will give you the format for translation and it will be done on simple paper. For affidavit, they will just stamp the translated papers. My wife did this all for me but i know the process.
