  2. Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On June 28, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Yay! Get ready for the cruise.

  3. I have a question regarding our Interview next month. I served in the army in my home country. Should I provide some documents regarding this service in the Interview? Would they even bother to ask for any ?

Post this question in the general AOS forum because there's a very slim chance that someone reading this particular topic would have an answer. My guess is that you don't have to mention past occupation if it's older than five years...

Sorry for the wrong answer. I realize that the I-485 form, Part 3, section C, asks to list any military service since your 16th birthday

  5. Same here. My wife did her biometrics on June 8, and nothing. I did get an RFE for the I-485, but I don't believe that should slow down the EAD process. Frustrating.

EAD approval times have steadily gone up for the last few months but it's still around 60 days (from priority date) which is faster than the USCIS standard. Some people, here and there, might be lucky and get it faster but we don't know if they requested an expedited process or if some other factors played in.

  6. In response to the RFE, we only submitted the "Certificate of Registered Particulars", you guys think that's sufficient enough? or we'll need "certified statement from government authority" or any "secondary evidence, e.g. affidavits"? We worry INS will issue RFE again at interview.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance.

This is not a progress report and these type of questions are best answered in the general AOS forums because there's more traffic and you might get a more definite answer. It would help to mention your country though. Good luck
