Hey Im a May filer too and Im not on your liste
My status is currently EAD/AP approved and card production, interview scheduled for september 19th. Seems we're all almost there!
You're adjusting status FROM a Family based visa (K1). Although the processes are very similar up to the EAD, they are different because K1 get transferred to CSC. I'm glad you obtained an interview, it will speed up your case (CSC is very slow right now). Good luck.

@ Old_Dog_Barking- I've received a text/email that my card was mailed out on 8/15 but didn't receive follow up text/email that USPS picked up the card, is that normal?
Although I received the "USPS has picked up your card" message for the GC, I never received one for the EAD; both arrived the same day.

... My EAD went into production on August 10 2012 but I will only have it for a little while before I have to destroy it because my GC Went into production right after our interview.
Congratulations. Do not destroy the EAD in case there's an error with the GC and you have to return it. I believe the EAD could be helpful in that scenario; if not, it's always a cute souvenir.
Just got my EAD card.. Seems like it's the same thing for AP, on the bottom there was a line saying that it is for advanced parole too

My mom is in a good place right she received her ead card on July 28 and she applied for her ssc and also received that so things are looking bright . So now the wait begins cause her case was transfer to CSC on June 6.....
Why is her case transferred to CSC if she is adjusting from a tourist visa?

Other people from Houston have already had their interview. Meanwhile, my file is still at the NBC which makes me think that my local field office has nothing to do with my long wait. Someone at the NBC has yet to go over my file and THEN transfer it to my local office for an appointment. God only knows why it's taken so long to go over it.

You should schedule an infopass because you should, at least, have the EAD. Don't let the people on the phone mislead you.

Does anyone know what is the rule with conditional GC, I thought that it is only being given to couples who have been married for less then two years at the time of the interview. I have been married 11 years and on my Welcome notice it says that I will be receiving a conditional 2 year GC and need to remove conditions 90 days before it expires
If you have been married for 11 years, you're supposed to get a 10 years GC. Could the actual GC be correct when you receive it? Like the previous poster suggested, I would recommend calling USCIS and inform them of the mistake.
Anyhow, create a new topic in the main AOS forum and you might get more experienced help.

We have a printout from our bank with both our names on it.
We have a notarized letter from our landlord saying we both live there.
We have 3 albums worth of pictures
Do you guys think that will be enough.
If asked for paystubs, just present the most recent one because it will show the year-to-date earnings.

When you say overstay is forgiven for spouses, you mean he isn't considered an illegal alien while we get the money together? There isn't a penalty or anything for filing after his tourist visa expires? That is good news.
"Overstay is forgiven" means there's no adverse consequences on his Adjustment of status but if he gets caught between the date his visa expires and the date he files for AOS, he could be deported.

On my husband's portfolio at USCIS website it says that a approval notice was mailed for the form I-130, we haven't received that yet.
Does anybody know if they actually send a hard copy of an approval letter for I-130? Just would like to know if there is anything else comingo on the mail:-)

Yes you should receive a hard copy (797 Notice of Action) for the I-130 as well as one for the I-485.

Now, can somebody tell me how long does it take to have my status updated online to approved (I'm so scared he may changed his mind and not approve us, I hope I am just being paranoid after this whole interview and it is not possible since I already have my stamp in the passport)
Congrats! Most people get a status update by the end of the day but it's not uncommun to have to wait a few days. Relax, you have been approved and the IO is not going to flip-flop.

There are a lot of advocacy centers around the US helping people in your situation to file for the DA program; you don't really need a lawyer. Here is a list of free legal help providers in the state of TX; give them a call and they might be able to refer you to the appropriate center. If it's still possible, cancel the contract you had with the greedy lawyer you hired.
Just a personal opinion, I would file for the DA if I was in your situation.
