Today, my family's nine month ordeal is over. I just received text and email messages that their ROC petition has been approved and their new cards are in production. !!!!!

Thank you for the love.y comment saw you post about the fact that you are still waiting after such a long time for your visa. Look into getting an expedite, it's an option because your husband is active duty, especially because there is a possibility. Of being deployed soon

Another infopass appointment today - w00t! I-130 approved on 23 March 2013 (A Saturday) and in the big pile to go to NVC. Yay !

Now the journey really starts.

I am utterly in shock yet so pleased with NVC. I had requested my original marriage certificate because I need it and I don't trust them with it. After a letter, and an email it arrived today. Was mailed to me the same day my case went to embassy for interview. WOW. This is awesome. So thrilled.

My husband arrived Friday the October 12th and had a very smooth and easy POE in Boston. Finally he is here and we couldn't be more happy!!!

Got the response to the email sent on Tuesday and this is what it says

God often causes delays in our lives that we cannot understand. Sometimes it seems our obedience is not getting rewarded. Jesus said He learned obedience through the things He suffered. Imagine that, Jesus having to learn obedience. What does that say for you and me? Sometimes God's delays are simply because He wants more glory in the situation, more recognition, more Christ-likeness in you and me through greater patience and obedience. Faint not, for the promise may yet come.

Submitted papers for I-129F last Oct. 31, 2012 while waiting for the I-130 approval, who knows when. It has been transferred from "Another USCIS office and "your local office" (no idea what is that mean). I hope after all the 4 Transfer Notices we received via mail, it will reach to a good hands and find its way back home :-)
