Should be no issue. Let us know how it went.

Go. Don't even think about, just go. It helps the process and your fiancées state of mind.

Maybe you (the USC) shuld find a tough American Girlfriend & move her in, n see how fast she boots out the x-wife??? Lol seems legit!!

Absolutly the best idea next to packing her bags for her and sitting them on the street.

You can wait until the medical. They will give you everything you need along with the documents. No need to have additional expenses.

I got an RFE for my step son, but they processed the EAD and ap, but not the GC. His interview is Tuesday.

Merry one and find out. You won't regret it!

Yes. Take them. It also helps (my experiance) if you are with them.

Take a look at our time line.....

All good

30 years age difference and never a question....

We certainly didn't have any issues. I feel for those trying to do it right, paying the fees and standing in line. What gets me boiling is the free pass being offered to ILLEGAL people that trespassed the border and system to get here. Of course we all know they are being courted for the vote.

I went for my fiances interview. Best decision made and well worth the added expense. Just hang by her side, be at every window with her, hold her hand and just let her know you love her. This shows to everyone. I don't think our questioning lasted 10 minutes total at all windows combined. The final interview with the CO was less than 2 minutes. I fully believe that was because I was there.
Good luck and let us know how you do!

Congrats! Happy hangover!

Tax transcripts from the last tax year, but I did three, w2's, 3 months bank statements, employment letter, etc etc. follow the guide and you will have all you need.

They send them to the embassy. You will get a cd. No worries.

File all now and be done with it. It's much simpler to do all three now. You won't regret it.

This is good advice. I left a credit card with my fiancée at the time on one of my trips over so there would be no hassles with the tickets.
Best of luck!

Thanks

Yeah, it's really the worst thing we've been through together so although it's tough for us at least we can see from this how committed we are to each other. I would wait forever (hopefully sooner!) for her, we will find a way to make it work in the end i know.
Next time she goes for the interview i will attend it. This time when she got back to the hotel skype was so bad we had to resort to texting and it's so hard to show how supportive you are via text. During her interview i wrote her a nice supportive email just in case of the worst-case to let her know i am hers forever.....and of the 1000's of emails we've sent back and forth, that is the one email Yahoo sent to spam. I guess that's why they have the '!' on Yahoo! So next time, even if it doesn't contribute toward a successful petition, i will be there for her. Tears in my eyes now just thinking how she must have felt. Well, i did at least pay for her sister to fly to Manila to support her, so she was not alone. But next time yeah, i will attend for sure - and i'd suggest anyone who can attend should do so, it's going to be easier to ask questions there and then if there's 2 of you and one is a native English speaker - rather than contacting the embassy later.
Yeah, i considered that for the first time last night. First i will consult with a lawyer to make sure doing something like that won't just slow everything down.
Great idea though, so thank you

I have to say I feel for you. The one thing I did was to fly over. Brutal trip, anchorage to manilla Saturday, arrive Sunday, rested Monday, interview Tuesday, fly back Wednesday and back to work in Thursday. But just being there eliminated lots of questions. I bet we weren't questioned a total of 5 minutes. Some girls were being grilled and we followed them to the same window and no issues at all. So I think you are on the right track to go back when the time comes.....good luck

My wife's biggest issue is shoes....size 4.5 to 5. Very limited selection here in Anchorage..also they don't make breakup boots with heels.....or boots for four wheeling....it's a stylish thing I guess..
For soap and personal care, we do Amazon. Good thing there are multiple Asian markets here and one caters more forwards the Filipinos.

We came thru Seattle and had a 5 hour layover. Only took about 15 minutes, but she wasn't rushed, had lots of time to relax and then enjoyed the Seattle airport. Just don't cut it to close. Better to have lots of time than to miss a flight..
-
Shouldn't be. GC is still valid.
-
And save yourself some stress and put them in order before you get there.....156, 157, then 156, 157 and 157k. They will tell you that at the embassy, but better if already done.

Am I reading what you guys are posting correctly?
When someone tries to bring over a family member they have to file the petition then wait 24 years??
Good god.
Yep. Your read it right. It's got to do with quotas. We looked into it and that is what we found.

This just happened to my wife today. Any reasons this is happening? Do we just wait?
