  1. I had oath last week. Now I’m citizen.

At interview IO didn't ask for anything. So, I thought they might checked them self or yellow letter was mistake.

I gathered following documents for my interview (in case IO ask for anything).

    1. IRS Tax: I went to local IRS office. Officer gave me Account Transcripts for all tax years since I came to USA. Account balance is zero in all transcripts, means I don't own any taxes to the IRS.

    2. State Tax: I contact State revenue office. They gave me Tax clearance letter, means I don't own any taxes to the state.

    3. Voter registration: I contact local County Clark Election commission office and previous County/state election commission office. They didn't find my record. So, they all gave me letter stating no record found. Means I was never registered for Voting. In my case I lived in more than one state since I came to USA.

I was so worried, I went little extreme and ordered copy of my original DL application from all DMV and my mortgage application. To make sure I didn't do any mistake. This might not need.

    Best of luck for interview....

    Congrats

  2. I think you are over concerned. When you move change your address, and you should be fine. You can open a pobox with post office if you wanna have your own pobox for mailing purposes. I saw most of the time their online case status is accurate when it comes to N400, I would keep an eye on the online status and if you see they send you something and you didn't receive then you can follow up with them.

  3. Hello everyone,

I got a mail today stating that On October 16, 2014, your address was changed relating to the CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED that you filed. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

The interesting part here is that I have never applied for address change. What should I do now?? What might be the reason for the above update. Is it by mistake or there might be anything else . did Amy one of you face this problem?? Please advise. I am little worried .

    My timelines below

    NOA 1 - 2nd April 2014

    Biometrics - 28th April 2014.

I think it doesn't heart to call. I think somebody worked in your case. A friend of mine checked his case and it went back to acceptance, apparently it was an approval

  4. Services requests do nothing but generate return letters saying yes we have your case, wait longer. Unless for some reason they don't have you case, in which case they just tell you sorry we don't know what you're talking about. If you're more than 30 days over the published processing time for a service center, getting a congressman or senator involved is the thing to do, as a service request will just say to wait longer, resetting the clock on when you can get a representative involved, who do often seem to be able to make something happen. Not because they really have any control over, but USCIS doesn't seem to like getting their attention.

I totally agree specially I felt that Vermont doesn't care about i751 queries, they have an excuse which is we give a year extension ! When I contacted my senator their response was that the current processing time is 6 months plus one month buffer. So I decided to wait until I complete 7 months and if I didn't hear anything then I will contact my senator again

  5. This is what I recieved from uscis yesterday

    "

Recently, you or your representative contacted U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) concerning your Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence (Form I-751), to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Our records show that your Form I-751 is currently pending adjudication. We regret that we are unable to provide you with a completion date for your Form I-751. We apologize for the delay.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience. "

  6. Thanks. I been calling since morning. It makes me enter my case number and then there is no option to reach customer service rep. Does anyone know what I have to enter. I pressed 1 for english, then 2 for case number and then here is automated recording. It says 8.00-6pm but gives no timezone. I am in CST and I know even in PST its after 8 by now.

How do I go to manual options?

    Thanks

  7. Hi all, please add me to the list for Vermont.

    Filed 3/24/14

    NOA1 3/27/14

    Biometrics 4/24/14

    No further information yet.

    Also, a question!

I'm about to call USCIS to ask for a service request (it's been 6 months, after all), but I seem to have two receipt numbers. One I got on my NOA1 (first response for I-751), one I got on my Biometrics appointment letter. My NOA1 receipt number doesn't seem to work in the "check status" online system, but the Biometrics appointment letter receipt number does. BUT, when I try to put in a service request online, it's the NOA1 receipt number that works, and the Biometrics appointment receipt number doesn't!?

Which one do I use then I'm calling USCIS?

    Thanks much everyone.

NB. Both my receipt numbers start with EAC...

They will need the Bio. They are off today :S

    Finally!!! Accepted

    FINAF**KINLY !!!!

  8. I wanted to share with you guys that i contacted my Senator last Friday, yesterday I received this response from the senator office;

"According to USCIS records, your I751 is pending processing at the Vermont Service Center(VSC). The VSC is currently taking 7 months ( 6 months processing time + 1 months buffer) to process Form I751 cases. Your specific petition is currently assigned to an officer"

I also talked to level 2 agent. He said they currently reached March 24.

My Noa date is April 7

  9. Hey how is it going guys, well let me explain my case a bit. I am a USC and I applied for my wife and step daughter. My step daughters visa was accepted and my wifes was unfortunately denied. She was marked for a 9A2 a 9C2 and a 6c1. So they say she committed fraud, she was removed from the us at port of entry and she was EWI after being deported. So I know she has a permanent bar and I have to wait till she has been 10 years outside of the U.S. I have one question though what triggers the permanent bar? Was she permanently banned for committing fraud ? So for example if she did not get checked for the 6c1 she would just have a ten year ban, in which she would be eligible to file a waiver?

The reason I am asking these questions is because at the interview my wife says she had been interviewed by a new officer that she could barely understand and that he kept going to other consulars for information. The consular had asked her if she had a fake ID to which my wife said yes but she had never used it with a immigration officer or anything like that. Now I don't know if it is possible to dispute the officers outcome but what I want to do is file a FOIA and see if indeed she has ever been marked down for committing fraud. I previously had her deportation document and it never stated anything about fraud it just said she had a 10 year ban, unfortunately I gave that paper to a lawyer and she moved from town and I have no way to contact her. That is why I want to file a FOIA and see what it states, So please if someone can answer my question and help please.

I think you to consult a lawyer.
