  1. I called the Embassy last week and this statement is not entirely true. They will do interview proceedings but will not clear for visa until they receive the medical packet back from St. Lukes.

I just received my P4 via Email , Interview scheduled on Sept 14, although my wife is under Sputum Testing. Is she able to attend the interview?? or does she need to finish/pass her medical first?

    thanks in advance

  2. I just received my P4 packet via email

Email states that my wife interview will be on SEPT 14 2012 although a couple days ago my wife had taken her medical at St. lukes and she apparently needs sputum culture testing (2 months delay)

Does my wife go to the interview? or do we ignore this appointment.

by the way on 2nd day of her medical (the day she suppose to get her vaccinations) she has been sent home from St. lukes and ordered to return the following 3 days for "Smear testing" (Sputum) .my wife has also mentioned that St. likes will schedule her interview after her results.

but what about the E-mail from NVC?? HELPP

Contact NVC ? Contact US EMBASSY OF MANILA?? :help: :help:

  3. I guess it'll be just on time for her interview. you haven't got your interview schedule anyways,

in your timeline, case complete August, and she had her medical this month as well.

so if NVC will send you Interview Schedule anytime by September then her Interview will fall by October.

just in time she's done with her culture test. :) Don't worry she'll be fine :) just PRAY :innocent:

I have the same thought like you (interview will fall in oct/nov) but the part that worrys me is the sputum test, just another thing to worry about.

I hope her sputum smear & culture goes well. GodSpeed !

  4. Ah the controversial seminar.tongue.gif Love it or hate it!

BRING your petitioners BIRTH CERT and DIVORCE CERT (if applicable) !! Copy is fine. They will just look at it.

There were some that had to come back the next day with those papers.. and take the seminar again! unsure.gif Not sure if they have to pay again.

My fiance said the instructor had a lot of experience counseling abused women overseas. So her focus was to prevent that.

If you are not confident or sure of yourself, they might pick up on that and grill you. They want to help prevent anyone getting exploited. If that is not you, then you have nothing to fear right?

The web site says 9am - 12pm but it didn't start that day until 10:30 and finished at 3:00. Waiting for the certificate took another hour. Out at 4pm. So be careful of your schedule!!

Get there early and eat a big breakfast. Bring biscuits for snacks.

  5. So, apparently today, my wife went down to St. lukes [2nd day](suppose to taker her vaccinations) but she was told to take a "sputum test", because of her Xray results due to coughing.

my wife also told me that she needs to go in medication for the next 3 days and return again 2 months later for her results.

she also told me that St. lukes will schedule her "interview date", instead of NVC., meaning we would have to wait longer for her to come here..=(
