Who schedules the medical exam? Can my wife take it now ?

I just got approved yesterday (may 31)!!

another question - Should we schedule the interview date now? or it's not yet the time?

what documents should my wife be ready of?

she already has the following

-Police clearance

-marriage cert from NSO

she will get her passport soon.

what should I be aware of in the NVC stage? what docs do I need? Thanx in advance!!

..i noticed i haven't received an email or text from uscis,

-i did turn in form g-1145 for electronic notification, they must have forgotten? perhaps delayed? or should i not worry about it since i'm already approved.

On May 31, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

from what ive heard, "approval" is the longest wait, the rest of the process should be going fast.

you received the noa-1 right. thats about normal for the 1-130 are you checking your uscis case status on line, it's eight months now you are getting close,

i put the name as it is in my birth certificate and passport.

what name is in the passport ?

name is same as my birth certificate.

On my birth certificate:

First name: Joey

Middle name: Alan

Last:Cabatic

On my marriage contract:

First: Joey Alan

Middle: (blank)

Last: Cabatic

I haven't yet heard from USCIS but I'm just wondering if it will affect me? perhaps RFE? Would they notice it? what should i do?

Im a February filer at the California Center and i'm impatiently waiting....hehe..

It is not faster to use an immigration agent or lawyer to file your petition. The processing time takes the same if you will file the petition yourself. That is, unless you make a mistake and receive a RFE (request for further evidence), then the processing time will take longer. Good luck to you.

reading all these comments makes me wonder how long mines will take...=( im patient but i hope and pray uscis approves me soon. =/
