i think.prior to seeing your post, I called main office 2go if they have received my visa already. they did and I can pick it up tomorrow at sm fairview. The guy whom I spoke with even used the term "sure ball" cause I was asking if I need to wait for a text message from them. :)

  5. Hi VJers, Finally arrived in my new home, USA! :) I had a long flight but it's worth it. I can't explain the feeling of seeing my fiance waiting behind those doors for me and smiling. Such a nice sight to see. It's priceless!

I had 4 hours layover in Narita and flew with Delta. I feel proud seeing and talking to Filipinos who are working at the Immigrations and Customs at San Francisco Airport. The POE went smoothly. He just asked me what is the purpose of my visit, when do we plan to get married and if my fiance is a good guy? Then opened my packet and told me i have until December 12 to get married or else I need to leave. And then that's it! I got in! :) At the customs, the Filipino personnel asked me what foods do i have and i said dried mangoes, banana chips and korniks. And then he asked, no MAGIC SARAP and Lucky Me Pancit Canton? hehehe!

Anyway, weather is good here in San Francisco and I am loving it. Thanks to everyone who prayed and wish for my safe trip. Hope everyone gets to see the beauty of the people and USA itself. God Bless America!

omg magic sarap is not allowed? ?

  6. It doesn't evaporate... it turns into excitement, waiting for arrival in the US, then a tiny bit of stress at POE (though it's not needed), followed by excitement being together again and getting married. THEN... it turns back into stress as you fill out the forms & apply for AOS. Then impatience as you wait for your GC. THEN it evaporates for about 625 days while you bask in your love, waiting for the day you have to request the 10-year GC.

    Ahhhh, the process!!

I know its kinda a roller coaster eh. but im very excited for that! the process is killing us both with excitement and frustration. oh well as long as my fiance and i are together I know we'll nail it until GC! goodluck on your process dave! oh by the way my fiance's name is Dave too. 2 thumbs up for you!!!??

  7. Yes we're the lucky ones! I kept contemplating if I should move his interview date but I was like, nahh let's just keep it. We are still lucky to get NOA2 as expected and even with Oct 25 interview, we'll still be under 6 mons :):dance:

yes! and any delays can come from uscis to nvc to usem :) who knows the ball is really not in our hands :) yeah I agree! go bring home the bacon on october 25!:dance:

  8. I saw as early as 4 business day up to 10 days. Hope you get it soon!:dance:

thanks for the reply tin! I can understand if they cannot comment on my case. It doesnt happen always that a doctor goes out for an emergency leave, LEAVING papers unsigned and not thinking of the DELAYS it would cause. and the worst part is, I AM THE LUCKY ONE!

Patience is really a virtue for this game!:blink:

    smile nalang ako :D

  9. Hi does anybody have an idea how long do they issue ur visa? I had my interview last friday and found outmy medical results were not yet in. weent over to st lukes and found out the doctor failed to sign my report since she was on emergency leave.
