I just received email and text from USCIS that my 3 petitions have been approved. Although I'm not done yet, it is a little bit of relief as I have been waiting since February.

I sent an i130 in Feb and still nothing. No RFEs or anything.. So they are not too accurate.
-
I did this for my two step daughters. I also included with the i130 for each child a notarized letter from the father authorizing this. If you are interested I can provide you with the format in mine so you can use it.

Congrats!!

I just called again and filed 3 service requests... They are apparently working on March19th.. My theory is if they are so backed up. How come they don't wait to cash the checks. Not like when we have to pay a fee we can send an I.o.u. Incredible.. its like they have me by the @#lls...

I just called since I got my 3 service requests and they basically say nothing.. Got transferred to NVC and Officer Maldonado answered.... Real cool.. He confirmed that my case was indeed in Vermont and not in Texas like the other clown told me. He said that unfortunately Vermont has the same staff and has been getting slammed with larger workload. He also said that although the uscis site hasn't been updated and still shows 5months its taking more like 6.5 months. So all good.. He said my docs seem all inorder and I would have gotten an RFE by this point. So don't know if its all bullshit but at least I feel good I got an answer..

Only the service centers in California and Vermont adjudicate I-130 petitions. Your petition will not be transferred.
I am currently waiting on i130 status and when I called I was told my case was in Texas.

Congrats!!..seems like all are getting approvals except me... SMH

I hit my five month mark on 27th of July. They are really efficient in cashing the $420 checks. I have 3 petitions and as we all know for Dominican Republic after August med exams are more $. Thanks again VSC.

I understand you completely Joe. I have been holding off and haven't seen my wife since February. I have been trying to get things ready for when the process starts to wrap up and have been holding off traveling in order to save money but I'm about to take a quick trip soon I think. At least you are far ahead in the process. I sent my i130 around same time as you and still don't have a response. They have been sitting on my case it seems but were real quick about cashing the checks sent with the i130. INCREDIBLE>.

For DR they need the Acta Inextensa y legalizada which is the long version of the birth certificate. Maybe thats the one they want, instead of the extracto de acta which is the short version of the BC.
Don't know if thats the same but it has to be apostillada or something like that. If your from Santiago I have someone that can get that for you quick in la junta.. Just send me a PM and I will put you in contact with that person that works there. FYI .. it has to go to Santo Domingo to get apostillada and this guy gets it in 24 hrs .. Hope this helps..

Do I need an Inextensa Birth and Marriage Certificate ? or a regular original one? to send with the IV Packet
I got an inextensa birth and marriage when I sent my i130 and apostillada also.. That is what I sent in. Didn't you provide this with your i130 petition?

My visajourney timeline says my i130 possible adjudicated between July 12th and July 22nd. I'm right about in the middle of those dates and nothing yet. Hopefully soon I will get some sort of response.
-
Thanks all for the responses. I will probably go there until interview. As far as address I will still keep my NY address so that will limit confusion. God willing this will be over soon. If the vj timeline is accurate I should be getting a response very soon.

INCREDIBLE HOW NEARLY 50 PEOPLE read but not one comment. I called and asked around and the response that I received was the following. I can go to Dominican Republic without an issue since I will be using someone to sponsor with me due to my income tax in previous years not being enough. That person is a government employee and makes over 100k a year. After visas are provided and they come to the US they cannot return to the Dominican Republic to stay (vacation is ok) at least until after 2 years since they are to receive a 2 year visa. Within those two years they must prove that they are established and living here in the US. No big deal. As long as we are all together. /// Ladies and gentlemen this is a forum where all of us go to get answers or clear up things we are unsure or have doubts about. We post them here for that reason. Not simply so people can read for there entertainment and move on. If you are not going to contribute then why join the forum. I understand we don't all have answers but even an opinion at times can help. Might even help in pointing us in the correct direction. ///Just a thought.

If you click immigration timelines in the middle of the top portion of this page. You will go to a page that will give you access and also show you what they are working on. In the middle of the page it will show you the dates.

I am considering moving back to Dominican Republic which means my wife and kids will be staying there with me as well. This is just a thought, nothing written in stone. I am wondering what I would have to do in order to have them get there visas? Since we haven't been married for more than 2 yrs I suppose they will get conditional visas. I would like to know how long can they remain out of the country at any given time and if this will be an issue when requesting removal of condition. Any info or suggestions will greatly be appreciated. It is either that or fly back and forth since I have some business in Dominican Republic that I will have to dedicate more time to. Thanks in advance.
Finally got my NOA2 for my 3 petitions
