Hello, I will be filing I-130 for my brother and his family. my nephew is 20 years old. as we know it takes 10+ years for sibling category.
I have few questions.
1) What will happen to my nephew status/immigration as he is 20 years now and will be aged our when it approves
2) is there any restrictions for my brother or nephew to visit USA.What if my nephew want to come to USA on H1B while his I130 is pending?
3) what if my brother wants to visit using Visitor via while his I-13o is pending.

Hello I am US Citizen filing for Brother in India, I have few questions before i file my application.
1) Me and my brother don't have Birth Certificates showing common parents.
What alternate documents we can submit to show our sibling relation/common parent?
2) My Brother is married and have a child < 21. do i have to file 3 separate I-130 and pay I-130 fee x 3 or just 1 I-130 application will be sufficient.

Finally I got the text message that Oath Ceremony Letter was mailed. that was almost 5 weeks after interview date.

sometimes they hold the decision to do some more background checks. nothing to worry about wait sometime.

you may apply for Citizenship 90 days before your 5 year mark from your Green Card date or any time after that.

you may apply 90 days before your 3 year mark. you may start process of collecting document and filling form just mail it on -90 day mark.

only you need to file for your citizenship, your minor child will automatically get citizenship. you may apply for your child's US passport once you get your citizenship

I attached my additional sheet after last page of the form (before Attachments). also add name and Green card number on top.
also mention question number you are attaching additional information.

I will say you wait 4 - 6 weeks before anything. Classic USCIS always take their time to get anything done. I wouldn't worry much yet.
Exactly four weeks after my interview, got an update - oath ceremony notice mailed.

Hey Guys, Need you opinion. My wife has interview 3 weeks ago. They asks her to send additional documents showing we live together. we sent the evidence same day by overnight mail.
we have not heard back anything its 3 week going to 4th.
Shall I open Infopass? Did any of you encounter similar Issue?

I sent additional documents requested during interview same day by overnight mail. Its 2 week mark, i have not heard anything from them yet. Do you guys know how much time they take to review documents and send letter for decision?

Earlier in the process, like at ROC, or with the N-400 application? My wife sent a couple of bank statements with her N-400 also and she printed out the most recent right before her interview. I don't believe she was asked for the ones she printed out at interview time but it could be because she had already included some recent ones with her N-400.
In either case, I think she'll be fine once they get what they want.
We also included all evidences during ROC. He said this is something new came up.
But anyway he did not look at any other document/originals which she took with her.

My wife had an Interview today at San Bernandino Field Office in CA.
They allowed me inside in the waiting room and we were able to take our cell phones with us.
Interview went fine, Civic test passed. Later Officer asked my wife to mail some additional documentation as evidence of living together
- Bank Statements
- Credit card Bills
- Utility Bills
- Insurance Policies
he said everything is fine, just mail these and he will send approval later by mail.
Anybody else faced this? we already provided these kind of documents earlier.

you can pick the passport application. you can only apply once you have naturalization certificate in hand. so not same day.
