    YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY NOA2 IS APPROVED....GOS IS SOOOOOO AMAZING..I GOT A TEXT AT 12AM STATING MY CASE WAS UPDATED AND I JUST CHECKED THE USCIS WEBSITE AND WALA APPROVED!!..I CANT SLEEP AND IM TRYINF TO CALL MY HUSBAND TO CELEBRATE THE NEWS.OMG THIS IS ALMOST THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE YOU GUYS...thank u so much vj now on to the next stage!!This feeling and emotions i have is just amazing..Thank you GOD!!     thank you for your advice just wanted some clarity.. you said,"The police clearance is same day and the medical is a 2day thing he will do exam one day and come back the next day to pick up the sealed envelope" Soo that means he picks one clinic, then does the medicals first and police the same day. On the next morning he goes back to clinic and picks up sealed reasults to take to his interview when ever that might be.??

    Yes he will have to get medical on Lagos there are 2 designated clinics he can choose from but both are in Lagos. The police clearance is same day and the medical is a 2day thing he will do exam one day and come back the next day to pick up the sealed envelope...He definitely wont be able to pick results up the same day as interview...They do not mail the results to the embassy he will pick them up and take them with him to the embassy on the day of the interview.If you can afford another trip then by all means go but that wont gurantee anything and the impact of u being at the interview would be very low many have gone and still have been denied not trying to be negative but just telling you the other side of the coin if you know what I mean....Goodluck to you :thumbs:

    Greetings all,

    Just wondering if you experts can give me some round about figures on upcoming fees. Soo in Lagos, how much will my sweetie pay for his , fingerprints, medical and visa?

    Also, he lives in Enugu so we are trying to find a way to save on trips to Lagos. Does he have to go to Lagos for both the medical and clearnce??

    If so how soon are the results given, do they mail them to the Embassy or does he have to come back and retrieve them?

    Is it possible to time it so he can pick the results up as he goes to his interview?............................................................................

    We have been in a relationship since Feb.2011, we have meet physically twice(once in Ghana and once in Nigeria ) for a total of 13 days. I sent lots of texts, skypes, (we have a total of 28,000 texts, but only sent about 200) and pictures with me and his family as evidence. Should we try for another meeting with longer stay for more evidence for him to show during his interview?

    How much impact would it have for me being there during the interview even though I can't go in with him?

    P.S. the only red flag i can see is that he is 9 years younger but I am still in child birth range we plan on at least 1-2 .

    Well just in case you dont know yet my baby got APPROVED for his visa on 4/11/12. ( 2 days ago).whooo hoooo!! we have some very big plans and events going on here in the states and need to know when he should be getting his visa stamp in his passport. When he got the letter from his interview as to instructions on picking up the visa they only said to come "next week".... but no exact date???? we need him here ASAP so i need to know the first day he should try to go get it. PLEASE anyone who has picked theres up lately let me know how many days it took for it to be ready to pick up... thank you in advance!

    I am so glad you asked and I would like to know. I have seen much discussion and many countries no matter its favorable for the USC to send money. However you know when we speak of Nigeria and other African countries all bets are off.

    I am the USC and have sent money throughout the almost 3 years now and than. Not a support kind of thing but still money. I will not be presenting any receipts he will have them in case asked if I ever sent. But I feel because I am older, we met online it will look like he has enticed me, woo me into sending him money. If $100 now and than makes them think that we are damned.

    Funny I have read men sending thousands to put their foreign spouse through school and paying for homes and cars. We send ?100, $500, $1000 over a year and we are a sham a fake. ugh.. You started something now Olomi_811.

    So do you have to say you sent money or not?. I mean is there a way the can find out.? :wacko:

    Was the check cash?-if not, then wait until it is. You need to be patient because the waiting time b/t NOA1 and NOA2 is going to be really long (~5 months)

    You might receive you NOA1 this coming week.

    Trust me you will drive yourself nuts looking at others time-lines and wonder if something is off. My packaged was overnight on Thursday 3/15 got there 3/17 a Saturday and signed for. I received nothing also from USCIS even though I signed up for email and text message notification. I paid by money order and kept calling that it was cashed 3/22. Still no notification until last Sunday 3/24 I got my I-797C Notification. Why I didn't get my email and text notification who knows. But the letter is good enough for me. So now I have to wait.

    So hang in there you have a wait. Also can I ask why did you send to Dallas Texas office? Are the Petitioner and Beneficiary both here in US?

    I'm a little worried. I sent my K-1 package off a week ago. Eventhough I tracked the packaged and it was confirmed it was delivered with in two days ,I still haven't recieved a message from the Dallas, Texas site that they recieved it. I have my page linked with several people who applied the same week as me and I recieved 7 alerts that have recieved their NOA1. What's the hold up with me??? Is there a number to call or email to write??

    Greetings,

    NO there is no cover letter needed , but you should attach a supplement answer to that question of how you to met. So in the answer box for that particular question, just write or type "please see attached supplment for question #??" . Then just type out your story in a word doc. and paper clip on the back of the orginal form when you send in your package. I believe on this website there is a tab where they give you example of how to fill our forms you will see and example of this. Hope this is helpful. :star: . Good luck :thumbs: !!!!!

    I heartily agree...although I am new to this process, I know that they don't want a book- send enough pages to show an on going relationship, but too much and you can piss them off...I have a lot of pages too and will be sending in our I-129 soon, but to show a continuous relationship, I'm going to print maybe 2 pages per month- if they see that you are communicating daily for the majority of the past several months, they will have to conclude that you have a long-term relationship. Don't waste your time...cuz they will look at it the same way- a waste of their time. Be conclusive but succinct and I believe you'll have success. I understand the temptation to send a mountain of proof, because I'm deciding what to send this weekend and am facing the same thoughts...but I'm choosing positively conclusive evidence and am whittling down the excess so that they can quickly see that our/my relationship is genuine. I wish you the best.

    The LETTER OF INTENT should have an original signature. You can actually print and sign MULTIPLE letters and have MULTIPLE originals. Really. You can also send the roginal and keep a copy of what was sent.

    All forms and the letter of intent should have original signatures. other evidence presented can be copies. Translations, if any, should also be the original translation and signature of the translator. Keep the copy. Alla provides TWO signed original translations with each document she does.

    Ok I was reading through a thread today and it mention having the letter of intent and the G form in ink.. Ok does this mean my fiancee should not sign and scan?? Does it mean he needs to sign the forms and air mail to me with signature in ink?? That would mean I'm giving them my orginals right?? I thought I was to keep the orignals and send copies in case needed for interview?? Confused??

    Question: My fiancee and I mostly conversate via text and emails. we have over 19,000 from March 2011 till today. How many do I need to download and copy? My printer runs slow and it will be costly at Kinkos. SO would it be ok to do a few from each month our download them all??
