Could you guys please give me an idea of the questions that will be asked at a K-1 interview in Kingston, JA?

Dont stress about it because I filed my fiance's I-129F on May 11th of last year and his case got approved on the 29th of November...It just takes time !

Things may have changed since I was at this stage over 2 years ago, but when turning in the DS230, I requested that our interview be on a specific Monday. That Monday was a holiday, so they made it the next Monday. That way, we had a chance of the Visa being ready by Friday so my then-fiance could fly back to the states with me on Saturday. Long story short, it worked out that way for us.

That sounds wonderful...my fiance's interview is the 29th of this month, do u have any interviews questions you guys can remember ?

the US Embassy in Kingston will schedule you for an interview. Have you received packet 3? One of the docs included in that packet is the DS230 (they may send you this in email and Packet 4). Once you filled out Part 1 and submit it to the Embassy, then they will send you packet 4 which includes among others, your interview date.

Have you turned in the D230 form, after the embassy receives this form then they will schedule the interview date.

You don't the embassy schedule the appointment. What stage are you at now? Have you received the pkg 4?

My fiance already received the Packet 3, in which he was told to get my tax return(affidavit of support), Non-impedement of marriage, police certificate and all that stuff.

The Jamaican consular will require that she turn in a 134 form, along with recent paystubbs to show that she is currently making the required income above proverty level for 3 people.

I make $11 an hour 40 hours a week, last year from August to December I made $9200. Would it be ok if I use my co-sponsor's tax return from 2010 ?

Your fiance has a son? Then the household size would be 3 people if the son is meant to go to the US. 18.000-and-something dollars would be for 2 people, not 3.

oh k. so i will need a co-sponsor ?? i will send my tax return for 2011 and my co-sponsor from 2010, will that be ok ?

ok, so does this mean that i will need a co-sponsor, because the lawyer was saying i would only need one for a non-immigrant visa...?

I am getting the affidavit of support for my fiance for him to bring to his interview. I went to my lawyer today who was being very rude, he told me that I do not need a co-sponsor for a fiance visa although I made only $9200 2010 working August to December. He said that I will not need a co-sponsor until my fiance gets here and is adjusting his status...Could you guys please tell me whether or not I will need a co-sponsor ?

I received am email from the embassy in Kingston Jamaica saying that my fiance will need my most recent tax return/W-2, proof of income/employment and the I-134 at the time of his interview. Does anyone know whether or not it would be a problem if I faxed the documents to my fiance ?

Please help me out guys.....I started the Fiance Visa process in May of last year, got the receipt, they requested further evidence, sent it in,case got approved on Nov 29th of last year. National Visa Center said they then forwarded the approval to the embassy in Kingston, Jamaica.

I was late told that the embassy in Jamaica mail my fiance the packet 3 on the 23rd of December and he has not received it as yet. What do u think I should do ?
