  1. When my now husband went to his first interview in Kingston, he was denied the K-1 visa because I didn't make enough at the time. So, I got a co-sponsor, mailed all the documents to the embassy on his behalf, they called him and rescheduled the interview for like 3 weeks later. He got it then. I would say give them about a week after they receive the info/documents and they will call him.

  2. wow that makes me feel Good.I thought they would judge the income for the past year,I think am ok then,

so w2 tax return is not enough or need tax transcript?

thank you so much for help.am feeling relaxed now.

Jay-Kay are you sure?because my fiance had his K-1 visa interview about 4 weeks ago and my income for 2012 is above the 125% poverty guideline, but I still needed a co-sponsor because they went based off of my income for 2012 which was not enough

  3. The 125% of the poverty level requirement is for CURRENT income and not what she made in the past last year. She still has to provide her 2011 tax transcript, as everyone does(and it is fine that is a joint tax transcript), but her income will be based on what she is earning right now, this year, not last year. She proves that she will make $40k this year with the letter from her employer and recent pay stubs showing how much she receives each pay period.

  4. Hi Everybody,

Embassy called fiance today! He can pick up passport and visa on Monday!   Wooo Hooo! Took long enough!

Want to thank you guys again.

    congrats !!!

  5. After waiting for 17 months and service after service, I finally got a RFE with hundreds of requiremnts since that was my only and last chance to get approved, i gathered all the information including over 300 pic from courtship to post marital and put in over 7 folders ( cause I visited my wife seven times in different countries)... my lawyer is down playing every thing and keep telling me to send only selected e-mails, selected photos, selected fedex airway bills and other selected stuff............i keep telling her that we have to send all pics, letters, envelopes with postages, all western union reciepts, but, she keep telling me that she knows every thing about this procedures and ask me not to panic........I new she was an ignorant when she told me that she want to make a copy of some pics and mail it to the USCIS ( i never heard in my life a petioner who copies his pics and send it to the USCIS ( instead of sending original pics)

today, I went to her office and dropped at her office over 22 folders from A to Z and left her a message to mail it with a cover letter. She called me and told me that we dont need to mail all the folders and we have to send just only 10 folders......

My question is do i have to let her do what ever she see is right or take all the folders from her and mail it myself to the USCIS though I paid her a lot of money? I dont know what to do cause it is my final chance to get approved or denied

    Need your adivse..................please help

I can dfinitely understand where you are coming from, the samething happened with the lawyer I hired so my petition took longer than usual because he assumed that USCIS did not need certain thing. I would suggest you give them as much evidence as you can since they sent you a RFE, just to be on the safe side.

You posted the same question three times, at three different times/ in different areas. PLease don't do that. Only post your question once, then wait for people to answer. If the replies are unclear, or you have follow-on information or an update, post it in the same topic, do not start a new one.

I did not post my topis in 3 different places, i was surprised when I saw it. Undo it please since it bothers you

  8. The doctor conducting medical examinations in Sydney is booked two months in advanced. Due to this we scheduled my husbands medical examination ahead of time. Its on Friday, we just got our NOA2 approval notice (text) yesterday. What do we need for my husband to continue with the scheduled medical exam? A case number? A letter? :help:

My fiance did his medical last week, on the day of the medical appt, he was required to have his interview letter from the embassy there with him.Did you guys get the packet3 as yet ? This was in Jamaica though

  9. My case was completed last week so I am anticipating an interview date soon. I have a question about the vaccinations at the medical.

Unfortunetely, my husband has ZERO documentation of ever receiving a vaccine, and so I am guessing Consultorios De Visa will make him get every vaccine required for him to enter the USA. Judging from the prices I saw on the website, it looks like it will be expensive.

My question is: Should he attempt getting the required vaccines somewhere else that is cheaper and then presenting the documention during his medical? If so, any suggestions on places? And lastly does anyone know which are the "required" vaccines? The list of the "must have" vaccines does not seem to be listed on the website.

The medical packet tells the different vaccines that will be need. My fiance just did his medical like a week ago, he did not have all the necessay vaccines needed, so what he did, a couple days before the medical appt he went to a clinic, got all the vaccinations and paid like $50(US). Then on the day of the medical appt he brought all the paperwork showing he got vaccinated, he said the Dr just did a physical and he paid him 110(US. This was in Jamaica though
