Called NVC today...fees are in the process of getting invoiced!
I would LOVE to close my case at NVC by the end of the month, but its probably "wishful thinking" LOL -
Does anyone know the fastest and safest way to send docs from DR to me here in Florida??

Private courier (UPS) is usually the safest and quickest. You can track it online, and they usually offer guarantees for the shipment date. See here: http://www.ups.com/?Site=Corporate&cookie=do_en_home&setCookie=yes

Question.... According to Saylin's VJ guide, I am supposed to send in the AOS packet to the Visa Center. I thought this was the packet that we take to the embassy because she states in this packet, you include the police cert and passport pics, etc. Clarification anyone? I know I have to send in my financials but I thought that was it until the interview

Yes you need to send the AOS (I-864) package to NVC. You also need to send the IV (DS-230) package to NVC as well. The police certificate and passports pics are the IV package, not the AOS. There's also a ton more stuff in the IV package. Go to my profile, my 'About Me' tab and click on the last two links there and do some reading! -

Hubby sent DS-3032 via email this morning right after we got his case number. It hasnt been rejected so far..lol. Waiting to send payment! =D

Hey everyone!!!!! I already received my case number. Apparently, I had it on Friday, according to the representative I spoke to, but apparently it was assigned AFTER I called Fridaya afternoon. I didnt call yesterday because I figuered I would wait a couple of days to call since they just received my case. Well, my husband woke up at 3am and sent me a message stating that I should call to day because he had a feeling that I would get the case number. I did and I do!...

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone knew how long it takes to get a case number assigned once it has been confirmed that your case has reached NVC?

NOA2 approval 5 minutes ago. So happy! It took CSC alomst a month to review my simple RFE but, I cannot thank you all enough for your support and encouragement! We are ready to move forward!!

Tomorrow , I officially reach my 5 month mark in waiting for my NOA2. Sent RFE 3 weeks ago and still nothing. I know that you may assure me to stay postive and patient but I am about to lose it! Especially when my RFE was ridiculous.
