I had the same issue. That's when I realized that long ago I had created my profile with same email id during my GC process. I had even forgot my password, so had to reset it.

So, go ahead and log in to the website and add your new application number. Then select email and text updates.

Completed my Biometrics today. Now wait for next stage...

Unfortunately, not all offices allow you to do a walk-in before the date of your appointment. Here in Chicago an early Biometrics is impossible. They wouldn't let you go in before your date under any circumstance, even if the place is empty.

Same with Newark, NJ. Walk-in is impossible. I'll have to go in on my scheduled date.

As far as I understand you have to be 900 days in the US to apply for the naturalization process.

rdeangulo - Its actually 913 days (30 months). To be safe make sure you have 920-930 days before you apply. Good Luck!

As per USCIS Calculator the earliest you could have filed was 09/10/2011. Your NOA date is 09/12/11.

They could have interviewed you and scheduled your oath in later part of Dec.

Did they say they will schedule your interview for a later date?

Gwenneh - Though your checked was cashed in Nov. your NOA could still be in Oct. Wait for the letter. My check was cashed 3 days after the NOA date. Once you get the letter in mail you can add email and text verification on the USCIS website.

I am supposed to start Med School in Caribbean on Jan 7th and it will be hard for me to take time off from school and fly back and forth. I am trying to get things organized before I start the school.

If your situation is straight forward and simple, like being still married, taxes filed regularly, no long absences from US during this 3 year period, no arrests etc., then IMHO, save your money. You don't need an attorney.

Its seems like you are already past the 3 year timeline. You can file now.

PS: I am not a lawyer, but a fellow immigrant in the same journey.

Well, it looks like the phone call I made to USCIS last week has paid off.......got text/email yesterday saying that an interview has been scheduled and I should get the letter from them within 14 days....

Hey, Congratulations!! That's good news. Have you done your FP within the last 16 months? I believe, if you have then they don't need a fresh one. Am not sure...so better verify that before your interview.

I spoke with a level b officer last week and she looked at the file and she said "it looks like all is fine"

then i told her that my case was reviewd by supervisor because ive a record of disorderly conduct; she responded " i dont see it in my system, that means it doesn't count"'

and added "before Christmas you will receive a gift"
