Concorduser and v333k - Thanks! I didn't know that.
-
utz119 - Congratulations!!
Btw, I am curious. If your field office is NYC, then how did you end up mailing your application to Lincoln, NE?
-
I have received the email from USCIS and info content is "This application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for biometrics at their local Applications Support Center (ASC). You should receive a notice in the mail within 60 days......
Hi Longisland,
Did you receive your Biometrics appointment? Also where is your field office?
-
Any single trip which is not more than 6 months. Which again is misleading, because its actually no trip more than 180 days which is usually a few days shy of actual 6 months.

Hi Anna,
My experience - for my GC interview in Denver office, I did have my 1 ½ -year old daughter with me in the interview room. She tried to reach for the candy jar on the interviewing officer's desk! :-) The officer was polite and told me in a nice manner to hold my daughter carefully.
But I agree with PhongDiepNJ - you are better off if you can find someone to take care of your kids that day. Hope your husband can be with you.
-
helwardman - wow.... thats quiet a wait. Did you try to reach a second level officer?
Hope you get your biometrics notice soon and your application moves faster. Good Luck!

Once we get the NOA we can sign up here https://egov.uscis.g...is/Dashboard.do for email and text notifications.
Look at the bottom of the page where it says You can register for automatic case status updates by email and text message
Am also in same boat like you. Waiting for the mailman....

Hi GinFar,
So very sorry to hear about your loss. I know its tough.
Though my situation is not similar like yours, I lost my mother suddenly to breast cancer a few months ago and I am still trying to recover.
Why don't you join us on the N-400 OCTOBER 2011 FILERS thread and update your timeline?
All the best and stay strong.

Congratulations v333k!!

Btw, my GC interview was at Denver field office! It was a pleasant experience. Good luck to you. :-)

Hi Concorduser,
Are you applying after 3 years of marriage based GC or 5 years residency?
