You are applying based on 5-year residency and you do not need to submit any tax return transcripts with you application. Order the 5 year tax return transcripts from the IRS and have them with you during the interview just in case the officer asks for them. Do not send them in with your application.
Here is a list of what you need to submit:
1. Filled out N-400 form.
2. Photocopy of front AND back of green card.
3. Two passport-style photos
4. Check for the fees ($680)
Don't overdo it. You can always show the documents they need during the interview.

My interview is at 7:40am, so not sure how early I can go as they may not be open. Thanks for the tip about the long wait. Will carry some energy/granola bars with me. That is, assuming all goes well and I am invited for the oath.

If you husband is applying for naturalization based on marriage, then you need to mention only past 3 years. The 5-year rule does not apply to him.

Bob 4 Anna - My interview is coming up and which is why I am nervous. Thanks for the tip about what to write in the memo line of the check.
I am not sure if I want to involve the court at this moment as that could trigger claim of arrears. My ex has agreed to speak with me this weekend and I will update on how that goes.

Alawi - You have already asked this question by starting a previous thread. Its understandable to be nervous about the N400, but you are asking the same questions by starting new threads. Here was the answer you had got earlier -
You are applying based on 5-year residency and you do not need to submit any tax return transcripts. Order the 5 year tax return transcripts from the IRS and have them with you during the interview just in case the officer asks for them. Do not send them in with your application.Here is a list of what you need to submit:
1. Filled out N-400 form.
2. Photocopy of front AND back of green card.
3. Two passport-style photos
4. Check for the fees ($680)

Update -
I got the latest court documents on my case. The good news is that I have no child support arrears claim against me during during the nearly 7 years after divorce was granted.
However, I still don't have sufficient proof of payments with me to convince the IO that I have been regular.
Ex-spouse is still not relenting and does not want to provide me the affidavit. I have been as polite and nice as possible, but she is not budging. I am running out of ideas now...

Update - I consulted my attorney and was asked to do the following -
1. To contact the court located in state and county in which my ex-wife and child live and check for any updates to my case regarding child support. I called and found out that there is no update since the divorce was granted and there is no child support case against me. I have ordered certified records of the case which will reflect this.
2. To politely negotiate with my ex-wife and see if she can give any form of affidavit that states that I have been regular in my payments.
NickD - Thanks for your input. Based on my story, my attorney felt my marriage to USC wife was not a sham. I have been paying child support and my marriage ended due to her cheating. There is no apparent evidence of defrauding immigration. Also, paying child support till the child completes 18 years is a very expensive way of obtaining Green Card. Normally makes no sense if one has to pay child support for close to 15 years in lieu of the LPR card.

Deep2009 - Thanks for your comment. Too late now, but yes in hindsight I should have paid through the court and not directly to ex-spouse. Btw, what does 'FOC' stand for?

tdegrenier - Thanks! Yes, getting the old records for payment I've made will be a problem. I was not aware of the procedure to update the court of the payments made. Will have to look into that. Given the fact that my child is 2 time-zones away from me, I am not sure how effective the hint of taking custody will be on my ex-wife.
I am making another polite request along with a monetary offer for the affidavit. Am waiting to hear from her.
