Joker69 - I hope you get your Oath scheduled soon. Perhaps, its a good idea to do the infopass once 45 days have passed. I know the wait can be frustrating. Hang in there buddy.

BethandBilly & renlovesjesus - This surely is unique and weird. I assume you both sent in your N-400 applications. Normally the check is cashed within 7-10 days of your mailing them the packet. But I have occasionally seen cases where it took them a little over a month to cash the check.

I would suggest you call them again next week and follow it up. I know it seems frustrating, but hang in there.

I hope seniors of this forum can chime in and give their opinion.

Simo2012 - Given the unstable nature of your marriage, you are better off applying for Citizenship after you complete 5 years as a permanent resident.

Whether you want to live with your wife or divorce her is a decision that you need to make. Think hard and do what you need to do. Good Luck!

Will expedited process assure a quicker return of the CoN as well?

Yes, I would assume so. Check with huniebee. She is the one who used expedited processing in our thread.

Received my CoN by priority mail and the passport card by ordinary first class mail. Both arrived today.

I was worried about the CoN, but it came safe and intact with no folds or creases. Now I need to go to the Social Security office and the DMV to update my records.

karin_brenig - Its the same case with me. I applied 19 days ago and website shows no status for me. Can't call them as they ask you to wait for 4-weeks. Patience is the game.

TiredOfUSCIS - Did you call the USCIS customer service number and ask them about this email? That's what I would do. I doubt USCIS would send you an appointment via email. Please call their toll-free number and inquire.

No, you only list trips that you made after becoming a PR. The 5 year rule does not apply to you.

Got my US passport today and now I really feel like a US citizen. Not that I am going anywhere but doesn't matter

MirandaVC - where did you apply for your passport? Did you also get your passport card? Did your CoN come back properly in mail? Also, did you register to vote?

I have applied but my check has not been cashed yet, so can't check my status.
