Hi!! Congratulations on the speedy and exciting process. I have a question in regards to the AOS process, did you have an interview before your AOS was approved? If so, what was it like? How long? What sort of questions did they ask? What did you take? What did they ask for?
Sorry for all the questions and THANK YOU in advance!!!

The ASC is different from the police record. The ASC appointment is where they will take his digital fingerprint and other biometric information. Mexican applicants are not required to get police report (unless they have lived in another country for more than a year) because Mexico does not keep a record. I hope this helps!

You're right. The information requested in "packet three" does not have to be mailed to the embassy. You're fiancee will bring all of the requested documents with her. The DS260 is actually an electronic form so you will send it electronically. Then she will take the receipt with the bar code to the embassy with her. I hope this helps!

He DOES NOT need another medical exam. Only a signature on the I-693.

Let me know if you have any questions. How do you like being a mom??

Congratulations!! I'm so happy for you. You should start with getting him the needed paper work signed by a civil surgeon. This is the part that for me was the most painful. After that its just gathering documents you should already have. He needs to get two more passport photos as well.

I just filed mine on Thursday. Lots of money involved! I just can't wait until he gets his conditional green card.
