      Ex (who gave verbal consent to move with the kids already) is saying 'maybe not' now that the papers are ready to be signed. I can't move without my kids. :( We'll see. There's always hope, right?

      Ok, I didn't see it in your timeline. :) and what about the DHL tracking? Is it DHL that is slow or the embassy? :P

      I'm lame. ha. I don't know anything about DHL tracking. I just call DOS and they tell me it hasn't arrived in Montreal yet. It's there "electronically" but not physically.

      If you know the date of when it left NVC, I can try to look with DHL tracking for you. :)

    Lucky you!! I'm hoping for 2 weeks between P3 and being able to schedule. I checked the Montreal site today and the next avail. interview is 46 days. So probably 8-10 weeks until mine, I would guess. But I'll take sooner!

    No wedding plans. Just get there, marry at the courthouse, and file AOS as soon as we can. Then party later. :) Wedding plans for you?

    Hey! I've missed seeing your comments on the boards. Glad you're back :) It's getting exciting now! My packet 3 is pretty much ready to go, as soon as I get word that the consulate has my file. Just a couple of months now!

    I will not get discouraged that my 5 month NOA2 "guideline" has passed. I will not let myself think about the 5 months it's going to take to get through Montreal. I will stay positive and focused on the end result - a lifetime with my Love. Yeah, that's what I'll do...

    So it seems that VSC is a full month ahead of CSC now. People filing 4-6 weeks after me getting NOA2s while I continue to wait. This system blows chunks. That is all.

      And I feel badly for feeling it, knowing there are others waiting even longer than I have been! It is what it is and we can't let it get us down, right? But venting here sure helps some days.

      It helps, yes. Right now, I can't stop thinking "when is CSC going to process all those August filers?!" (and I wish they process the ones before too for sure). If only there were constantly 10 NOA2 approvals per day on Igor's list!!

    Sometimes I wonder, if there were fewer reps answering phones for the "it's been 5 months today, where's my approval??" questions, would there be more reps available to actually process petitions?

    Just saw a timeline... they filed the petition 2 weeks before I did... and their interview is scheduled before I'm even hoping to see my NOA2. W.T.F! Somedays I seriously hate the inequities in this process.
