6 weeks and no visa. Medical expires in 4 weeks. #######.

A month... and still we wait.

3 weeks and nada. Please hurry Montreal.

Passports in MTL for 2 weeks now. No sign of movement yet.... patience, patience...

Holy hallelujah! Almost 3 months later, the medicals are finally approved and on the way to the consulate. We may get this wrapped up soon!

Approved! ....pending medical results. They kept our passports though, so I'll take that as a good sign.

Leaving for Montreal tomorrow. Interview Tuesday.

Medical done! Results to be delivered Friday, train to Montreal Monday, interview Tuesday. Woo hoo, things are flying!

Medical went great! Easy peasy... assuming they would have told me if I failed, of course. Results should be delivered to me on Friday.

I'll look for you! I have very short hair (I call it blonde, my kids call it grey, ha ha). And I'll have 2 kiddos (10 yr girl and 6 yr boy) with me. I hope to see you there!

Medical on Tuesday and interview next week. It's hard to believe I'm finally so close!

After P4, I could *try* to schedule an interview. Going through Montreal, be prepared to wait. I tried several times a day, every day, for 3 weeks before interviews opened up. There's a thread on the Canada board of people already waiting. Share your info with them -- everyone tries and as soon as one finds an opening, they let everyone else know. Good luck! Be patient.

For me, it was 10 days from when MTL received/logged my P3 until they sent out P4. Good luck!

Glad that you got your forms printed. Yay! I used ExpressPost to send in P3. They use DHL to send your passport to you with the Visa in it, so you still need to register for it on the scheduling web site.

So, give it about a week after you send P3 and then start calling DOS again to see if P4 is sent out; then you're set for scheduling the interview!

Hi. I didn't have any trouble printing the forms, but a quick search of the boards here came up with this: "you have to have the last version of Adobe. If you still have the same problem, print the file as pdf, not to a precise printer. you save it and then you can send it to a printer."

Don't wait to receive P3 (or anything) in the mail. You just need to wait until DOS says that it has been sent. My P3 letter showed up in the mail about a week after my P4 letter did! As long as DOS says that it has been sent, you are good to go. Same with P4 -- you can start trying to book your interview as soon as DOS says P4 has been sent to you.

Awesome info. After the petition has left NVC, start calling DOS again. When they say pack3 has been sent to you, then you can send your documents in. Other questions, just ask!
