  1. Hello, everyone! I am new here!!! Today, I had my interview at the US embassy in Manila,

I was interviewed by a filipino consular officer everything went fine asked me some question personal question about my husband, after that she asked me to sit down and wait for my no. then i saw my no. another window, asked for my name and date of birth and i had my finger prints scanned.

got another interview did not asked much, did not even asked for pictures, emails, or joint bank account (proof of genuine relationship ) he just told me to wait for my no. @ window 72, saw my no. went there and just asked me to fill up this paper 2go courier with my mailing info. and said go window 69 and wait for your visa..

i was just wondering if im approved? i dont know because i have not received any slips or no one said im approved can somebody tell me so my husband and i can decide when to buy ticket.. thank you so much!!

( sorry for my english ) CR1 - immigrant visa for a spouse US citizen

    i guess you are..congratulations!

  2. i agree with the replies here..as for my case, my husband marry me when he came home and filed it as soon as he gets back to US. and now..after 4 years of waiting, our case is finally complete and i am on my medical exam process..he is still LPR, and he will only change his status as soon as we get there..so im hoping for the best, with our twins, i think the CO will approved our visa..Goodluck to u..made up your mind.. :D:)

  3. its my first day of sputum test.. i arrive at SLEC at around 6:20 am and i was already number 83..theres a lot of people already inside. i finished at arouind 8:30 am..i will be back again tomorrow for my second day..

i thanked God because the xray results of my kids were negative..they will have their immunization after my smear test so im hoping for a good result on my smear test..

  4. Hope that one day, ang ipopost ko d2 ay submitting requirements to NVC na... Huhuhu. Can wait to be with my husband.

dont worry sis madali na lang naman panahon ngayon and mabilis na processing ngayon..ako nga 4 years in the making bago ako umabot sa ganito..patience is a virtue daw..

  5. Hi "babystef", thanks so much for your quick reply. Ideally, your suggestion is really great! but, I'm trying to hopefully save for travel cost since we are 3 going there. Flight cost is still a lot cheaper if we get bookings ahead. Another reason is that I may not be granted for another vacation leave at work...just too busy at my work at the moment and October might be a good time to get off. I have a friend also from Mindanao, who had medical and interview within 1 week all, and all was well for her. It might be not same with me though as I have kids who will apply for K-2. I'm quite positive with my would-be medical results at St. Luke (God's will) since annually I undergo comprehensive medical exam and there had been no problem at all, so far, just that I'm bit worried of time constraint of my kids since they have to undergo tuberculine skin test. But, worst scenario comes (in case medical results have problems), then we have to probably move our interview schedule later.

I'm not ready to leave the country as yet, still very busy at my work. This is another reason why I'm not having my medical that soon as I knew that medical results are valid only for 6 months. So I'm trying to plan well my schedule so when hopefully we are approved for visa (God's will), by the time I'm ready to leave the country (within 6 months after receiving visa) the medical results are still valid for the adjustment of status (AOS) later. We just wanna make sure that we maximize our resources since we know there would still be a lot of expenses later considering I'm not moving alone.

I would still appreciate more comments / suggestions. Hoping there are some members here who really experienced same case as mine (with kids). Thank you ! :)

well if your not yet ready to leave the country, ypu should continue with your plan since your not in a hurry naman pala..just pray that all is well with you..good luck

  6. its true that kids 13 yo below will undergo tuberculin test and you will be back after 2 days for TST reading..and if it turns out positive, they will undergo xray and you will be back again for the result. as for us adults, we will undergo the usual physical exam..and the most conflicting part is the xray..if they found something suspicious on your xray, you will undergo on a 3 day sputum test which means you will go to st lukes 3 days in a row for collection of sputum. and after that there is also a culture test which means you will only get the results after 2 months..just like me, i have an interview on Aug 23, but it is now cancelled coz i have to undergo on a sputum test and culture test..if i were you, why dont you schedule your exam now so that if you will going do undergo on a sputum test, ou still have a lot of time before your interview..think about it. :innocent::thumbs:

  7. MAHAL KONG VISA BULLETIN.....PLEASE NAMAN BILISAN MO NAMAN..MAAWA KA HU HU HU...

oo nga current na sya and kung di lang sa sputum exam na yan sa st' lukes interview ko na sana sa aug 23..but that is life..ika nga nila. patience is a virtue..

  8. Hi,

I called St.Lukes today to see if my results are ready... The person I talked to asked for my name then he looked it up and say PLEASE COME HERE TOMORROW AND BRING YOUR PASSPPORT and receipt. Is this mean I pass the sputum culture? My due is actually July 25 but the last time I was there they said the culture will be finished on July 21 but just to be sure call on July 25. Anyway I got to excited so I called in today. Hopefully it will turn out okay!

yeah i thought your test were okey..congrats to you..please keep us updated ok?

  9. i got my nbi last monday at robinson's otis..the people there are much fewer compared to other robinson,s mall..i got my clearance on the same day..if you hjave a hit, you will wait for another ten days for it.

  10. How i wish, gnyan priority date ko hehehe. Hope everything will be ok wid your case.

dont worry madali lang naman lumipas ang panahon..habang papalapit nakaka stress sobra..sana nga maging okey ang lahat thanks!

  11. me too, i will start my sputum test on the 26th of this month, and waited for 2 months for the culture test thats why my interview on the 23rd of August was cancelled. I have done an xray one month before i received the notice letter because i have a cough then so i undergo an xray and they found out that my chest was normal. i am confident that my chest xray will be fine but unfortunately, i will be going to have a sputum test.. only SLEC will decide wether you are ok or not

  12. Resident address could be different than Mailing address. Its not big problem. but make sure that your husband mention that on your DS-230 form. If he is not mention it, you might change it during the processing in your interview time or at NVC level.

    Good Luck!

he doesnt mention anything on the DS 230 form but as afar as i remember, the questions regarding were we intend to live, i wrote down the address of his brother..thats why im confused now..

  13. hello everyone, i just want to ask if it will become a problem on my interview when CO asked me about my hubbys add in the US and i will tell them that his address that was written in all the forms that we submitted to NVC was only for the purpose of immigration? The address in all the papers written in the papers we submitted to NVC was his parents address. he told me that he only use it so that all the mails coming from NVC will be directed to his parents house. his real add was the house of his brother and most of the time they were all out because they were all working thats why his mailing address was of his nparents house. will it raise a conflict if i reason it out?pls help me thanks :unsure:
