mounir412 reacted to Aspen7 in Anyone else go from NOA1 to NOA2 in 6 weeks?
I was under the impression that the shortest time anyone has ever waited for NOA2 was 4 months, but most people wait 5 to 6 months. We received our NOA1 on July 12, so I was stunned when we received our NOA2 on August 23rd. Only 6 WEEKS! Has anyone else received an NOA2 this fast?

People in the US are required to get the vaccines to attend school, so they already have them. The medical is to get you the same vaccines that the US people have. It's for the public health of the people in the US (and you, I might add). The US has gotten rid of some diseases that still exist in other places in the world, and the US doesn't want them here (like Tuberculosis).

mounir412 reacted to Tebessa1111 in A miracle just happened! After almost 14 months undergoing AP, "REFUSAL" on AUGUST 1ST, Today August 18th got a call from my fiance at 5:00AM.........
    A MIRACLE just happened!!
VJ members.... thought I would share with you the news!
So after almost 14 months undergoing AP in Algiers, and at refusal email from the embassy on August 1st....., bright and early this morning I got a call from my fiance. He said " baby get on Skype and check the CEAC website," so I quickly jumped out of bed and did just that...... WOW, couldn't believe my eyes, " Ready" it is our new update today. Did not know what to think, because our entire journey has been a nightmare..... We were jumping up and down from excitement!. Then an hour later, the call I have been waiting for the last 14 months, my fiance again, he said "baby, guess what? I said WHAT? Just got a call from the American Embassy, was told to bring or send my passport, they are ready to issue visa!", I almost fainted. This was truly a MIRACLE!!
Whatever happened at the Embassy we probably will never know, but that is irrelevant at this point. We really prayed hard and asked God to intervene. At that moment we had let go of that heavy burden and gave it all up to HIM.
We are positive that the outcome of our journey was 100% Divine Intervention. Thank you my GOD!. Never underestimate his power. Be it and it is done!
A great thanks to all my VJ friends!
    Diana
    PS: To be continued........

She was a warmhearted CO, she was concerned about our puppy!
She said " Ok, we're gonna issue your visa, but it may take some time"
She gave me a flyer showing my rights in the U.S
Her assistant said that i'm approved, and the time-frame for the issuance of the visa is unknown.
I hope they're not gonna change their mind LOL

My husband is a MENA man... Has been here since feb of this year. Been working since April. I am given just about all of his pay check (he keeps enough for the bus/metro to get to and from work)
It is well known that Morocco has one of if not the highest fraud rate when it comes to this process... With that being said, I think so many couples have issues for a few reasons...
    1) Non muslims marrying muslims thinking they will change/convert their spouse and vice versa or thinking that persons religion should be last on a persons list of priorities.... If some of these women took the time to learn something about Islam they would know that it is a mans responsibility to care/provide for their parents when they are elderly and unable to do so for themselvesand also for their unmarried sisters if their parents are not able to, however is oblogation is to his wife first...... Many of these wome would save themselves alot of time, money, stress and heartache if they took the time to learn of Islam and the culture of whatever country their spouse came from....
    2) folks not being understanding or excepting of of one anothers cultures. Not will to compromise or try new things.. (this has bee a issue with my husband and I, but he is starting to loose up)
    3) Beigning so silly in the head to believe their DH or DW wanted to come here based soully on their love for them.... Come on.... We have to be real and honest with ourselves... I know part of the reason my husband looked to marry outside of his country was to leave.....
From what little the OP did say it sounds to me that they did not discuss a great many things and chose to over look many of the few red flags that were revealed to them....
If you trully love your wife try to get some counseling.... Insha'allah Allah will help you and your wife through this difficult time....

American women don't think MENA men are slaves. However, many MENA men are ok with coming here, living off their wives and/or their wives' families until they can find work and then when they do find work instead of paying their fair share, they want to send half or more of their money back to their country. It doesn't work that way. Do you ever think that perhaps your wife's depression is from going through the immigration process, bringing you here, supporting you, and then you not appreciating all that she's gone through? Then when things go bad and/or men don't get what they want they want to cry about their 'crazy' wife and how awful she is. American wives then end up to be either crazy, drunk, druggies, or slave drivers. I love that.

If you help ROC as though you have a valid marriage you could be jailed and fined. She is using you. She could file under a waiver and you are not obligated to maintain health insurance after a divorce. You do know the longer you are married the more claim she has you your assets and retirement.

mounir412 reacted to Meera12 in HE GETS VISA TOMORROW!!!! wOOHOO
After 3 long years, we can be together, finally. Even though my husband's interview was canceled due to the embassy shut downs that took place in over 20 countries, I can't believe he has visa.
My husband said that he couldn't believe it. At the interview he himself even asked the CO if there was any administrative processing and the CO answered that the interview cancellation was a long enough wait.
They told my husband that to pick up his visa on the 20th. But he said he got a call on his cell phone at 3:30 in the afternoon to pick up visa TOMORROW before embassy closing time. Sooo happy.
I still need to write interview review but haven't gotten the chance since I am taking a few things to our new place.
    THank you VJers!!!!
I will definitely keep returning to learn about other's processes.
    Love you all
