  1. My fiancee just got her finality in her anullment. She is in the philippines can any body tell me is it ok to send in my visa packet with just her finality paper and get the process started? Any advise would help me alot. Gosh this has been a 2 1/2 year ordeal. Any help please?

Hi there are 3 stages after the annulment was done 1. The Decision 2. The finality 3. the Annotated of the Marriage Cert.

You can submit with the Decision of Nullity of Marriage to the USCIS.

  2. Here's the Cliff Notes version...

    1. Use your MNL case number (from the NVC) and your NOA2 to complete your medical at St. Lukes.

    2. Don't wait for the Embassy to send the beneficiary an email telling her that she is eligible to schedule an interview. If you wait for their email, you will waste a lot of time. Instead, you can read the eligibility letter if you click here.

    3. It usually takes a while for the U.S. Embassy Manila to receive your physical case file and enter it into their system. You won't be able to schedule your interview until the Embassy enters your case into their system. But go ahead and pay your visa fee at BPI. Then start trying to schedule your interview either online or through the call center. Keep trying every day. As soon as the Embassy has entered your case into their system, you will be able to schedule your interview.

    4. Complete the CFO seminar.

    5. Complete the interview.

    6. After you receive your visa, go to the CFO main office to get the CFO sticker for your passport.

    7. Welcome to the States! :star:

Good day, I understand the above mentioned but how do we get the MNL number?

  3. What I used for certificate of employment was a letter I got online from our virtual Military Personnel Flight (vMPF....I'm Air Force) The letter was a proof of service. The military paystubs are Leave and Earnings statements (LES's). I gave my wife my last 6 months of LES's (of course they were submitted to the NVC too)

As far as tax returns or transcripts...It would be 2008-2010 like everyone stated. Your fiance should be able to print his W-2s from online (I know I use the mypay site)

My wife went to PRISM and had no issues. I dont know why everyone says that PRISM is bad. It isnt very far from the embassy. Unless you live closer to St. Mary's...PRISM will be just fine. My wife said the at the CFO seminar they asked more questions than at the interview. Your best bet would be to go to the interview and then go do your CFO while you have all the evidence from the interview. It worked out pretty good for my wife. Other than that, it looks like you have it pretty well covered. You shouldnt need that many passport photos, but they are cheap there and easy to carry, so just stick to the numbers you have now.

    Good luck!

PRISM was OK , I recommend those who has not attended the seminar go..
