Just curious what questions do they ask at POE and also I know that they are very suspcious at immigration in the states. Anything that I need to know just to give my fiancee a heads up coming to the states.

I had a bad experiences with them. I was coming back from the Philippines and the lady asked me how I financed my trip. Is that really their business?

Hi although it's not same questions that are ask, mine was name of petitioner, date of marriage, and what they only told me was 90 days stay only expiration prior to Marriage, and they issued the194 as permit to work for 90 days. Good Luck!

From the time I checked it the date was Jan. 27 and when I check again today

the date changed to Jan. 31 is there any one that has the same thing happened

Hi, You have to get CEMAR .... certificate that u had been married before ....But CENOMAR are for singles only, don't be confused your AKA NBI's name and your maiden name. Just get it dont't be telling them about the NBI people and if they will ask tell them for your USembassy use.Good luck

Hi yes you have to get NBI clearance the names that you had been using if you had 2 annulments

then 2 AKA and your maiden name.

I opened this forum because I really want to meet some friends hopefully close to where I live. I live in Lake Mary Florida. I have been here for almost 3 months and staying at the house the whole time with same routine everyday is pretty much boring. With my husband at work and kids at school, I'm left alone lol. Honestly, I feel like going home to Philippines but yes, sometimes we need to sacrifice.

My fiencee's interview was on Jan 6 2012 and She got aprroved YEY!! anyway really how long it will take to get her passport with Visa to be deliver to her house, she live's in Cavite. Should I go ahead and make a reservation now for her ticket or should I wait for her Visa? Our plan is to fly her on Jan 29. Thanks everyone for the all the help..

Hi that's great your approved just an advice you must wait for you VISA first before plane tickets reservation.Probably it will be on hand 7 days after the interview when she got approved, I had been there on this situation, Good Luck!

thank u, yes i figured it out too.. but anyways, i am planning to come to PH this yr. before i really cant get on the plane, its a little bit difficult bcoz i will gonna have a bump in my tummy but its fine as long as i will gonna have my Tutoy and our new baby here in the US this year i am very happy....

But if your mom is coming for a B2 visa you just try then if not approved would be easy for you to pick your son to Pinas.

congrats on the upcoming baby. on your mom being able to get a tourist visa, depends on what ties she has to the Philippines. I've noticed sometimes it's easier for someone older to obtain a tourist visa.

you mentioned you plan on going to the Philippines. are you planning to schedule your son's K-2 interview so it will be possible for him to come back with you?

In Inyong's situation, it will probably be difficult for her elder child to obtain a tourist visa to accompany her K-2 child to the USA.

hello guys!!!, Happy New Year!!!, its been awhile since i posted here in PH VJ Forum, i am still waiting for my GC and hopefully USCIS give it to me soon... i have a K2 to follow this year 2012 and right now i am pregnant---( that's the other good news i want to share to you all.... ) my inquiry is about tourist visa for my mom.. honey wants my mom to come here in the USA before i give birth to our baby.. is there a possible chance if she will be the one to accompany my son coming here in the USA and reason out too that she wants to visit me because i am goin to deliver a baby...? pls. give us inputs/ infos regarding this matter, your reply will be greatly appreciated... thank u so much guys!!!!!

under K2 visa, Regarding your mom as tourist that's the USEM discretion if she can pass the interview likewise that's my plan

for my elder child to go with my K2 child to accompany too as tourist if that will be granted by USEM.

By the way we need to get a permit from DSWD for entering k2 visa. Good Luck!

Hello everyone, Im here again asking for an opinion or advice. IS there anybody here tried to make the biometrics appointment done on a different ASC office but the same appointment date?? Here is my situation, We are from Lake Charles , La, and our ASC appointment letter said that we will do it in NEW ORLEANS ASC, but it will be almost 4 hours drive, so we were thinking to drive to HOUSTON field office. Is it possible or not?

And one more thing, My daughter is 11 years ols and she got an appointment letter too, a day before mine. I just thought that only 14 yrs old and above will be asked to have a bio appoinment for photo and fingerprinting. Share pls your experience here and advice.Thank you in advance

I already call before I receive the notification letter from the US embassy and the man who answer the phone say friday or monday it will be here (9 or 12 of December). Everything was ok they did not say it is in adminitrative review and when I get done with my interview the CO say I am approve, congradulation. So I keep on wondering here what happen.

Did You call them? Is it in administrative review ? At the interview what did they say to you ? Did the CO tell you your Visa was approved ? It happened to use give the the particulars and we can help.

Well, if your kids paper are ok,why need an immigration lawyer? I went through my K1 w/o any immigration lawyer, as long as you do intensive research of what's needed..plus VJ is pretty much helpful in the process..getting advice and suggestion. If and when its time for my kids to be here, I would still not rely on immigration lawyers help..they are only there to assist you with the papers and not on the actual process. Preparation of those documents can be done even by ordinary pepz like us...Happy Holidays in advance!

Absolutely correct! It is advisable to apply for AOS ASAP along with your application for EAD and AP as there is no additional fee when sent in along with your AOS.
