when it was your NOA2?

what the lady asked before giving you your case number?

does NVC give you the case number with the invoice number ?

I got NOA2 on april 4, 2013

the lady asked receipt no and both beneficiary and petitioner details. I am waiting for their letter in my email. I asked them for the invoice no when i made call to them second time. thx

yes I called again and got my invoice no. but i hv to wait sometime to pay the AOS fee. I signed in with my case no and invoice no but it says invoiced not yet.

I just called NVC now and they gave me our case no. The lady said: you will get the necessary forms in couple of weeks. I got the case no after 9 working days once NVC received from USCIS. Feels good. Alhamdulillah

Our's was recieved on 12th, and no response so far... they had asked for Petitioner's photograph. I hope we both get approvals on monday. that would be cool

Did you receive your case number yet? My husband called the NVC yesterday, obviously nothing yet. I am wondering whether we should already start calling daily, or whether to give them another week or two. He was told that it takes 10-15 business days for the NVC to receive the documents from USCIS, and then another 5-10 business days for the NVC to enter the case into their systems.

I still waiting for my case no. I m calling almost everyday and they are saying ...wait 10-20 business day to get the no. Any way, waiting patiently and preparing the documents for NVC.

I hope and pray- i will get something at the end of this week or next week. I will keep here updated.

I understand your frustration. This entire journey is one hell of a roller coaster ride. Don't lose hope, you're almost there. Who knows, tomorrow your NOA2 will come.

After my noa2 ,I called everyday to NVC to see if they had my case number........yesterday I called in the morning but they said me that i had to wait 10 or 20 days for my number, but in the night i decided to call again and the operator said me about my case number and I gave my husband's email and mine too..then she gave me a invoice identification number to pay when it will be available

It means she is in AP (Administrative processing). The waiting time may be few weeks to few months. They will do further review. Don't worry. It's quite normal now a days they put some one under AP before issuing visa. 2 years back I was in AP too and they issued my visa after few weeks.

I know its hard to wait to be united with family. Be patient! Allah will help you soon.
