i hv the same question which has been raised by john & krisz.

Our AOS has been accepted, but we just learnt that the NVC is missing my birth certificate and that they also need proof that I am allowed to work in Germany. It's so frustrating - Finland does not issue birth certificates, but we use extracts from the population registry which I sent to them. The NVC is supposed to know about this, as it is all explained in the reciprocity schedules on their own website! I would also have expected the NVC staff to know that EU citizens are allowed to work in any EU country without a work permit, I really don't know why they need me to explain it to them.

I've already called them back and the operator promised to have someone review my extract from the population registry again. I might try calling them again about the work permit issue to see if it can be solved without me having to waste time and money by sending them more documents that they shouldn't have asked in the first place.

I got your point. If they raise this point, i think you can explain this in a forwarding letter and sent it through FEDEX/DHL by next day or email it.

Yes, i know EU citizen can work anywhere in EU. I was in UK for three years and hv seen that.

where did you get old I-864 form? i am not saying about I-864 Z form. i am thinking whether i should send I-864 with old form. I am not sure, when they gonna get the instruction about new form. thx

I called tonight and they informed that they didn't receive any instruction from immigration about the new I-864. The PD is current now but still waiting and waiting. May Allah bless us please.

Hi hv attached the choice of agent form. My wife (the beneficiary0 signed it and scanned it and attached it with the VJ email template.

I think the VJ email template is fine too. good luck.

Hi Nasir thanks for the replay, what did u send on the COA email, because i didnt attach any form just email template from VJ, is that how it should be?

when they accept the COA, they send the following message in email:

it means that they hv accepted your DS-3032 and you will receive your IV fee bill soon.

I called to NVC this morning about my AOS package. I sent this with new I-864. The lady said as usual that they did not receive any instruction from immigration about how to review the new form. She also mentioned that they are only accepting the new forms.

hoping and praying eagerly so that this issue is solved at NVC immediately. thanks

Hi Guys

Any one's case has been completed with new I-864? in USCIS website, only new I- 864 is available. Its really sad if we are on hold for the new form.

i have been reading and follow this thread hopefully i hv enough knowledge, but if not, i will ask you guys.. now i have to wait for NVC to generate my case number, probably around 1 or 2 weeks??

OMG, I GOT APPROVED!!!

first when I check my case update status on USCIS website, it say, my address has change. but after couple minutes, GOD Told me to refresh again.. and wualllaaahhh!! I GOT APPROVED!....

We hope to recieve the IV bill soon, too. We are current, so waiting now is more difficult than ever!

Do you think it´ll take weeks to have the case completed after NVC recieves everything?

If you call NVC, they say around 20 business days. But i have seen in the visa journey, people got case completed around 10 business days. thx

Hai every one My case got completed at NVC as of may 17th ,2013, now im waiting for a letter for interview.Please any ideas?? when can i expect interview date sine my priority date is current , March 12,2011

Congrats on ur case completion at NVC!!! you are already current. I hope and pray your IL in the coming VB of July. You can expect your IL after 25/26 th may.

But we didn't, he will only get the certificate after his oath ceremony in June. We'll call and see if it needs to get changed to F2A, although it seems a bit silly considering that in four weeks they have to change it again back to CR1.

ok, I think its better to call them and get confirmed how it has been changed.

I have a question: I received the AOS acceptance email today. In the field "preference category" it says CR1. Does it say CR1 for everyone else too? I would have expected it to say "F2A" or "spouse of permanent resident".

if you already emailed NVC with your husband's naturalization certification then they should change ur preference category to CR1.

You can do it by pdf tool, i did it that way and my ds230 was approved already, just make sure to put full name as passport
