I brought all the forms with me since I had copies, and the originals of all documents I have provided so far.

I advice you to bring all originals  - marriage certificate, birth certificate, passport, rental agreement, joint insurance policy, etc.

Print out some photos somewhere and bring those.

I didn't get asked forr anything but photos but I had everything with me for peace of mind.

    Good luck! :)

You should join the October thread.

How do I locate the October thread? :)

So have you sent the I-864or not? If not, bring it with you.

I justt had my interview in Cleveland and I brought my whole original package + some new evidence we had since filing.

Bring some photos too, I was asked for them.

Yes the I-864 was sent in with everything in October.
I sent a lot of photos with the forms I will bring some to the interview as well.
You say you brought your whole original package.....so should I bring all the copies of all of the forms we sent in? Or just a certain form? Cleveland is 3 hours from me so I don't want to screw anything up :(

  3.  We got our letter with our interview appointment date in February!! So excited but nervous at the same time.
The letter says we need to bring all documentation establishing my husband's eligibility for lawful Permanent Resident Status. What documents do they mean?
Also, it says to bring a completed Affidavit of Support with all required evidence unless already submitted. We submitted the I-765, I-131, I-130, & the I-485 all at the same time. So do we need to bring all that stuff again? It does say "Unless Already Submitted"...but I want to be sure.

  4.  SO sorry. It said my original post was moved to this forum but I can't find it/see it.

I sent all the forms in a couple months ago. I got a letter from USCIS "Request For Initial Evidence (I-485)."
It says "Submit an English translation with the applicant's foreign birth certificate issued by the appropriate civil authority. If the document in in a language other than English, you must submit a copy of the foreign language document and an English translation.

Hubby was born in Toronto & I was certain I enclosed a copy of his birth certificate with the I-485 but I may be wrong.  Is that what they are asking for? Do I just need to send a copy of his birth certificate in to them? His birth certificate is in English and French.

All I need to know is.....do I resend his birth certificate again?

  5. Hi everyone, hope you're all having a wonderful holiday season :)

Do nothing... It will be delivered.. Its only Monday!!!  And they mean 5 business days.

I hope so, I'm so scared I screwed something up. Only because they said it would be delivered on the next day the place was open, I thought it would be today :(
This is actually the address I sent it to, the other one was a little off :

    USCIS
    FBAS
    131 S. Dearborn - 3rd Floor
    Chicago, IL 60603-5517

Is that the right one? :(:(:(

  8. Worried.... :(

I mailed all our paperwork and forms on Friday Sept. 29th.  Express mail, return receipt.....sent them to the Chicago address. Well, next day delivery would've made it Saturday. The USCIS office wasn't open on Saturday so I did the tracking thing on my Express Mail and it says : Your item is being held at the Post Office in CHICAGO, IL 60604 on September 30, 2017 at 11:16 am because the business was closed. The item will be delivered the next delivery day that the business is open. If this item is unclaimed after 5 days then it will be returned to the sender.
However, it's still not been delivered. What do I do??

This is where I mailed it :

For Express mail and courier deliveries:

    USCIS
    Attn: I-130
    131 South Dearborn-3rd Floor
    Chicago, IL 60603-5517

I'm confused again, your top sentence says you don't pay for the I-131 or I-765 but the bottom one says we do......lol.

I so wish I could delete my posts where I appear totally stupid :(

    I re-read the instructions :

Filing Forms I-765 and I-131 with Form I-485

If you are filing Form I-485 (or already filed a Form I-485 on or after July 30, 2007), you do not have to pay an additional fee to also file a Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorizationand/or Form I-131,

So sorry for being confused yet again. I think I'm going to have a nervous breakdown over all this. It's going to be so worth it though!!!

    One check is fine.

Yes he has to pay the $85 biometrics.

I was reading instructions for the I-130 and under biometrics it says : "Biometric Services Fee. If you file this petition with USCIS, you do not need to include a biometric services fee at the
time you submit your petition. If you are later notified that you must submit biometrics, you will receive a biometric
services appointment notice with instructions on how to submit the additional biometric services fee."
