Hello, I just spoke with my wife. She recieved 2 vaccinations they cost 2,700 pesos. my step-daughter received 6 vaccinations for 8,034 pesos. The exams were 7,000 pesos for my wife and 3,000 pesos for my step-daughter. so the total for everything was around 20,000 pesos.

It's been awhile but I figured I update you guys..hubby has his permit to drive, has a great job and LOVES it!! Opened a joint and his own bank account..let's just say he's lovin his new life

Hey guys so my husband went to the cita medica today we got there at 7 and was out by 930... We paid 350 and they told me that he does not have to puck it up and they will send it to the cita ...so on another note very happy things are almost done

I've been thinking about P.O.E. I've heard horror stories about Miami and many people are saying New york would be better. But I'm also thinking about a direct flight to Boston. It would be nice for her to see Miami or New York, though.

My wife just called me and said that she saw on a website that photos need to be 1.25x1.5 not 2x2. I told her people who've done it used 2x2 and had no problems. She said, are you sure? i told her ok, let me check again..lol. So 2x2 good to go? I dont' want her making any unneccesary trips in her condition. She's already very tired.

the food is ok..I went to Majestic and the food there was really good. We went in bus from la Capi to Higuey and then to another bus from Higuey to Bavaro/Cabeza del Toro which is the section where Catalonia is and it dropped us off right in front of the security gates from the resort. You showed them your reservations to security and they take you to to the resort in a golf cart. We got there a little early (check-in is at 3:00pm) but we were able to leave our luggages up front and was able ...

Quick question for those who've gone through D.R. medical. My wife wants to take a Taxi early in the morning from Santiago to Santo domingo for the medical. Did anyone else's spouse do this or did they spend the night in Santo domingo and then go to medical?

I flew 2 days before, just remember the medical folder needs to be picked up the day before the interview..you can come back anytime you want as long as you don't expect to fly back with her. My husband flew a month later..flights were cheaper a month in advance with Jetblue ($125 in Oct. 2011, POE Boston)

NVC has everything now. Getting kind of antsy waiting for my interview date. I'm going to use 2X2 photos for the medical as recommended, if they need the other size im told she can go across the street and get them.

Hi Guys! Sorry for not updating just have a lot going on.. hopefully by next month I will do a post about my husband 6 months in the U.S it's scary how fast time is going by. & we are expecting are first baby it was something not plan at all, but only god knows why he choose this time..its a wonderful blessing & were looking forward to it. Hope everyone is doing good. xo
