  1. I know somewhere in this forum, the contact number for NVC to find out your case number is listed, but I did search a little and came up with nothing. I went onto NVC's website and found this number to call them at ((603) 334-0700) but not sure if this is correct. If not, is there a 1-800 number to get into touch with them?

  2. I have never been in such a situation but I would think it is logical for you to purchase a round-trip ticket (you may not be allowed into certain countries with a one-way ticket) because you are a "tourist" (technically). So, I would suggest you purchase a round-trip for yourself and puchase insurance on your ticket so that you can easily change your departure date and the purchase a one-way ticket for your fiancee for the same ailine (possibly change seats so you sit together :) on your way back to the United States. Good luck!

    Ok thanks :)

  3. I have the same question. And could ssomeone tell us what the NOA2 actually says when it is sent? Thanks, everyone and Happy New Year !

  4. How long does it take VSC to send the hard copy of the NOA2? According to the email I received on January 2, it stated "On December 30, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)" and I still haven't received it. If I don't have the hard copy by Saturday, should I contact VSC and tell them I never received the letter in the mail??

  5. it's depend on your taste in music. As Good sounds quality, I would suggest you to check out Viet songs from outside of Vietnam. If you like to just listen to Viet music then you can choose anyone.

From Vietnam I like: Cam Ly, Dan Truong, Duong Ngoc Thai, Quoc Dai, The Men, ...

From outside of Vietnam I like: Andy Quach, Luong Tung Quang, Minh Tuyet (of course), Y Phung, Dang The Luan, Quang Le, Mai Thien Van, Doan Phi, ...

    Thanks for your suggestions

  6. A lil chime on the celula late last Friday night, was a text from USCIS, notifying us of an update on our case status... THAT BEING.... LA VISA ESTA APROVADOOO!

What a good feeling that is!

    Por Fin! NOA2.

    Here at last.

Who hasn't received noa2, who filed in July ... should be coming soon, I'd think.

Congrats!! Looks like everyone from July is getting their approvals

  7. Thanks for the info AnhXao. Three more months isn't too far off, so looks like I will be going back to VN first of April. Good luck on your journey and wish both of you the best!!

  8. Congrats!! How long did it take from getting your NOA2 to the interview date? Hopefully I get the NOA2 notification soon and will get a general idea on when my fiancee arrives here.

  9. are you asking about good viet music that the viet nationals listen to or music the VK in america listen to? your list sounds more like the stuff that would appeal to the VKs. it's funny aging viet artists that have faded in america would do tours in vietnam and make a killing and be very popular...and the vietnam artists would tour the local indian casinos over here and the VKs love them over here. it's all supply and demand i guess.

I try to find and listen to recent mainstream artists (younger guys/girls) singing in VN now. I am not into the aging artists since most of their music doesn't interest me in the least. Not saying it's bad, but not the kind of music I like. I just enjoy listening to certain other countries music (Japan, China, and now Vietnam) and think it as good as American and sometimes even better.
