Hello Everybody,
I really am posting this in order to get some ideas and comments from people on this site. A friend of a Friend of a friend, (LOL), has been here since 2010 illegally. Now she fell in love with a guy who recent (about 6 months ago) received his citizenship after they got married. Now she has begun I believe the CR-1 Process. I was wondering what are her chances of getting her green card given the circumstances. My knowledge tells me that she is screwed assuming that the govt doesn't make exceptions for the rule. She will have to return to her country and therefore receiving a X year ban for overstaying and her husband will be devastated But I wanted to ask you guys who might have more experience in this area what you think. Thanks for your time. All post relating to the subject is welcomed.

Hello Everybody,
So me and my wife have started to plan our official wedding. The wedding is to take place summer of next year. We were wondering, what process would her friends/family have to go through to make it to the wedding? I know B-2 Tourist visa is involved but what guarantees can I have that my wife will have her wish of her Friends and Family being there to support her at her wedding? How does the consulate view these applications? Does an invitation letter written and mailed to the recipients as well as a formal invitation i.e Wedding invitation help to secure that they will receive a visa? I understand that the decision is mainly on the Consulate officer but how can we help persuade them to approve rather than disapprove and throw them with the rest of the "denied" herd out the door? Please any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hello Everybody,
Me and my wife are trying to prepare the package for the I-485 AOS Forms and we are a bit confused about some of the information that she has received and the actual package. She did her medical check in Russia before coming here and I just wanted to confirm a couple of things.
True or False? - Medical form done in Russia is valid for one year?
Second thing is her Vaccination Documentation Worksheet i.e DS-3025 Form has been filled out by a doctor in Russia that was suggested by DOS. But in the Results section of the worksheet it says Vaccination history is incomplete and she was unable to receive vaccinations because she was breastfeeding at the time. Will she need to still go see a Civil surgeon here in the US or this information, If you are K-1 fiancee or K-2 dependent who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the nonimmigrant fiancee visa, you only need to submit a vaccination supplement, not the entire medical report. You may include the vaccination supplement with your I-485, is correct and we only need the DS-3025 (Vaccination Documentation Worksheet) Form. All valid and accurate info is welcomed. Thanks for your time everybody.

ahh so she will go through immigration at JFK before going to her connecting flight. Maybe Ill meet her there. We will see.

So my fiance and son are entering the country on march 30th (yes Im excited ) but im buying them a connecting flight 1 hour later from JFK to BWI (I live close to the BWI area). Now the question is when they enter at JFK does she go through immigration there or she waits for the connecting flight and go through immigration at BWI? Im unaware of the answer cause ive never done this before O_O. Thanks

Who's Sabrina? My daughter's name is Serena. Close, but no cigar. She's doing well. We're trying to get her adjusted to the time difference, but I don't think Amy quite has a handle on how to do that yet. She lets her sleep during the day and is surprised when she's up all night. She counters this by putting Serena in her swing and rocking her to sleep.
omg she is soo beautiful and peaceful now that she is with her daddy. I miss my son sooo much and cant wait for him to come through JFK POE.

Happy New Years From Tatiana and Saheed

So, Tatiana and Aleksandr interviews for CRBA were Yesterday and Today in Moscow. Tatiana was petrified about what she would run into at the embassy but it seems an Angel was behind her the whole way. For Sasha's interview he was asleep while Tatiana did all the work. He smiled while sleeping which made the officer laugh a little then went back to sleep. After looking at the extensive album that Tatiana created, the officer asked her simple questions, where did we meet, when did you go to the states, Why arent we married yet since we have a son? for the last one the Tatiana answered we are in the process of applying for K-1 Visa which my interview is tomorrow. The officer replied ohh ok well your son is approved I cannot deny him he looks just like his father. LOL Also the officer then later replied I will see you tomorrow then and let Tatiana be on her way.
At the K-1 interview Tatiana begins the process and starts handing paper work to another officer when the same lady from the CRBA interview comes in and says "This one is mine" with a smile. Tatiana felt at ease with this officer who then later only ask her one question, "have you guys broken up since yesterday?" Tatiana answered trying not to laugh, No. Then she approved Tatiana and she submitted the rest of the documents.
I just want to say to the entire may group of K-1 fillers, Thank you. With out you guys none of this would have been possible. From your support, to your comments and concerns, to your jokes and your tears, I wanna say from the bottom of my heart Thank you so much for everything. I still cannot believe my babies are coming very soon. It brings such joy to my heart to know that all of this wasnt in vain. To all of you still awaiting NOA2 and/or Interviews Dont give up! Stay the course! The reward is worth the wait. Your patience will be rewarded 10 fold and never forget why you are doing it.....For love. Thanks again guys. Love each and every one of you. Take care.

I pray you have a smooth and successful CRBA and interview process. On another note... 5 days, 16 hours and 55 minutes until Amy & Serena's arrival in the USA; but I'm not really counting.
Thats Really great news. I cant be more happier for you. I hope all works out. As for me Im crossing my fingers. =)

My Tatiana and our Son Sasha as well as her mother leave for Moscow in about 2 hours or so. Please pray for them as they go for their interviews. The only gift I want for christmas is the two of them able to come here. We have done our part its up to the US dept of State now. I hope they come through for our family. Wish everybody a merry christmas. Take care.

Also, On the DOS website it says "The father (unless deceased) has agreed in writing to provide financial support for the person until the person reaches the age of 18 years" For the CRBA. How does one go about making this agreement. The Consulate website in Russia doesnt have a form for this nor does the DOS. Do the just want a written notarized statement or what exactly?

Does that mean even with a valid green card she can't return to her home country because leaving then trying to re-enter would create issues because the ban would have already been triggered?
