    We met through a mutual friend in 2011, applied for k-1 visa in July, 2012, he came here in April, 2013. We got married in July, 2013 and are going through AOS.

    He just returns the DS230 (& we returned DS2001 as well) by email. DS2001 lets them know you're ready for the interview. Packet 3 should have told you where to go for the medical. If you need to know where to go, let me know.. The rest of the docs he takes with him. Make sure he gets the police clearance NOW as it can take 10 days. Also, do the medical now, don't let them schedule your medical the day before the interview (they tried that we my fiancé). Give it at least a wee...

      What happened to the rest? Anyway, give it at least a week before the interview. Packet 4 will contain the interview date. All it was was an email. Print it out & bring it to the consulate. The consulate is very slow but compared to waiting for NOA2 it goes fast! My fiancé was here with in 45 days of then receiving out petition.
