He doesnt have to go to the embassy. He can send his current info to them with the required fees to be issued a Thai passport. Check their web site for more info or give them a call.

I assume you know he doesnt need a passport at all unless he is returning to Thailand.

he cant get an u.s passport because he isnt yet a citizen. he can file at the embassy from thailand a new passport. he still has his green card. the green card is for his status.

so most countries u can send ur passport to the emabssy in the state and file for a new passport.

K1s do not file an I-130. They file an I-129F. It is the copy of the NOA2 approval of the I-129F petition that they include.

when u entered via k1 visa and got married u dont need to file the I-130 again. all you need is to make copies from ur NOA1-2 from the I-130 petition. so uscis sees that it was approved.

So again about this paper with my explanation about the arrest. What if it's not on record? I mean you all probably saw this online site where you can check everybodys records. Just wandering if in any way I should not put the information about my arrest? What's best for me? Or this record can be still seen somewhere even if it's not online? u file it honest thats the best way to go with the uscis. always be honest in ur petitions. and explain in a short way what happened : like were arrested charges been dropped.

u should can go and get the police record for ur arrest. so then u know what it says and can go by that.

honestly this didnt even made any sense to me : Yes I already saw one lawyer, after that my husband found out about it because it was navy lawyer, so he called his command to ask why he doesn't give us money. so why u dont call and ask for more information and what choices you have.. and i never ever heard about a court taking the child away from the mother. they just do it under real hard circumstance. like if you are abusing ur child, are on drugs and stuff like that. so he has to proof to the court of law that u are not a fit mother. not the other way around.

i went to college in the states took professional english classes in school, i worked in the states b4 in a office where i had to use proper english, i had also, back in germany, for many years english classes. and still sometimes its hard to use the right grammar and spelling in the proper way. if u learned that good english from tv and movies u one for the books.

you also can apply alone without him for a SSN and can open a bank account alone with no GC in cali. all u need is ur visa , passport and ssn. u also can apply for a driver license without him. i have done it in cali in the past. u also can go and use the bus if u have to leave the house, since u have a computer u can check the schedule online.

and when do they send you the appointment with a letter what is kinda the time frame on getting the letter to the appointment? do they give you some time between the letter and the appointment or is it on a short notice??

When/If you change your address to a PO Box just make sure to make it very clear that you need everything send o the Po Box.

We can't receive mail at our physical address, so we already had the PO Box anyway. Apparently we didn't make it clear when we sent the paperwork in, so the first few things were sent back to USCIS as undeliverable, which caused us quite some stress and (as far as I can tell) a bit of a delay inthe whole process.

hi ines. yeah we did it now a little different. because we werent sure if the uscis sends documents to a po box. so our mail office herein town holds our mail for 30 days ,we can pick it up anytime and after the 30days we can add another 30days. and by then we moved to a new place were we both on the lease and give the uscis our new address...but thank you for ur responds

oh i didnt knew getting an PO box is an option for the aos visa. since they want all proof that this marriage is real and all.. but if a PO box is allowed yeah that would be a great idea.

i have a quick question. so we send out our aos and got today out email notification that everything is in progress and that we gonna get our noa1 and information for the working permit via mail .

so the issue we having is that my husband has still a valid apartment lease until july we cant move out cuz they charge us crazy much, they ( the apartment management) dont wanna put me on the lease, they wanna charge us double of rent.

some of the mail when it addressed to both of us gets in the mail and when it just addressed to me it sometimes gets sent back. the postal service doesnt put the mail in the box, they leave it with the apartment management and they out it in the mail boxes.

so im a lil worried that they send the mail back from our visa. and i was thinking about since i have my case number to call the hotline and try to explain it to them if they could address things in my husbands and mine name.

does has anyone some experience on that?? we moving this summer new place both on the lease.

i paid 120 in hamburg. fast appointment, gave me copies of everything and no long waiting period. i was with all test out in an hour. and very friendly.

the form I-134 has to be original signature. and the tax return and w2 should be original as well but from my fiance he just had his online ( even his payment check from his job) so he send it to me via email and i printed it out, that was ok for the embassy. but its different with the country. do you have a direct contact person yet at the embassy?? if so u always can call them or send them an email and ask with ur case number if its ok to have copies or print outs.
