US Immigration from Tunisia

I read on uscis page on Reddit that since 2021 taxes are due in April . Filing you affidavit of support right now you only need to provide 2020 2019 2018 tax transcript since 2021 is not due yet. Is that right??

Hi , my wife (petitioner) and I (beneficiary) were married last November and she was residing with me abroad in Tunisia since. We had our i-130 approved by USCIS so she is now filing her taxes for the NVC stage. Is it okay for her to file as SINGLE ?

Filing as married filing separately is not sure because we tried to send 3 k3's from here and they all were lost......

Filing as married filing jointly will takes forever since I need an ITIN . So can she just file as single so we can get the transcripts within a month then amend later and show the embassy that it was amended?

I had to resubmit my joint sponsor W2 the Feb 09 so we will have our new review by the coming May ; all the AOS and docs were accpeted and since the new updated I864 will be used since the April 07 do you guys think that NVC will ask me to resubmit the new edit I864 ( and another waiting time to get reviewed again ) or my case will be transferred to US embassy with the done accepted I864 ?

My husband and I are waiting for NOA2, we applied for our CR1 in October. We have so many questions and want help.

does anyone have a lawyer they recommend? Maybe you ve used one before that was helpful? We d want to have a consultation and most likely wouldn t hire one for the full process just to get clarity.

I was wondering if the NVC goes by the income of the year you filed or the most current year? For example, I filed in 2020..So they'll go off the I-864 that was filed and accepted in my NVC case in 2020 (which was based off my taxes from 2019)? They won't ask me to file another one that might be more current? I'm wondering because I have had some decrease in my income for this past year (2021) but I meet the minimum requirement for 2019 and 2020. Sorry I hope that makes sense.
