What did you all put in the "IN CARE OF NAME" on page 2...item 17a. Its under the petitioners info, so seems like a strange question...are they looking for the spouse's name?

Hello all, I know I posted this question a few days ago, and I got several replies, but I'm not totally comfortable with the kind answers I received. The question regarded my Thai wife's lack of a "Middle Name." Three people replied that they had just left that field BLANK. My concern with doing that, aside from the instructions to not leave anything blank, is they may wonder if it was just overlooked by the person filling out the form. In my original question I asked if it should be put in as "N/A" or "None." That way, the USCIS reviewer would know it just hadn't been overlooked. I'm leaning toward, "N/A" for the moment. If anyone has thoughts or advice regarding this, I'll ask this question again. Thank you in advance for any additional advice regarding this question.

I have read in other forums and in the K1-guide that it is better to apply for SSN prior to getting married. Unfortunately, the SSN process is taking longer than I anticipated since they do not allow for walk-in appts due to covid. The process we did was to call in to schedule an appointment. We have to wait for them to call us back for further instructions. So far it has been a week with no call backs. The only reason I know as of now as to why it is recommended to do the SSN first, is that it is easier to find her records when she entered the country prior to a name change. My question is, would it be okay to get married first, apply for SSN with her name when she entered the US, and then later on down the line do a name change to her SSN with my last name? I would like to move forward with the AOS process without wasting more valuable time. Thank you.

My conditional resident wife is from Thailand. Her English language skills are somewhat limited. We have gone over the I-751 form and her answers and she has read everything completely. She knows basic english, but nothing complicated. We are trying to avoid the additional expense of involving an INTERPRETER/TRANSLATOR in this process, but have concerns about how involved the Biometric Appointment is going to be for her and whether or not I, as her U.S. Citizen spouse can attend this appt. with her. Any experience with this would be very helpful...we will be filing our I-751 very soon, so need to make a decision. Thanks to anyone who replies to this question.
