I have tried to start the N400 application online, and get so far before an " Unable to retrieve your application" error pops up. Only get thru the first 2-3 pages. I exit to the home area, and see the pending N400 application in my profile, and when I try to continue it it takes me back to the error " Unable to retrieve your application". I have tried multiple browsers, and deleted the filing, and started over a few times with the same error showing up. Have only been trying for the past hour or so. Guess I'll wait until tomorrow to try it again. I am assuming it is an error on their end, as I have successfully filed other forms online with no issues ( Just completed I130 online, well, case is closed now, got the visa and everything, but that went very smoothly online). Just wondering if anyone filed N400 online and had this issue? Thanks in advance.

Had a friend visiting last week, and was helping her apply for an ACA insurance policy for 2023. Because she is not a citizen, Healthcare.gov wants to validate her eligibility by having her send in an image of her green card. That's when I noticed that her 24 month extension actually expires next month (December 2022.) What happens when those letters expire? Does USCIS take action automatically (like a new letter?), or must she do something? And if so, what? She's got a complicated ROC case, and I don't think it's going to resolve within the next month.

Hello everyone, Regarding scanned documents. I am waiting for my police clearance from South Africa to arrive in Thailand. Currently I have a cellphone scan of it (basically a photo). Would it be ok to submit this, or would it be better to wait for the official document to arrive so I can scan that using an actual scanner? Thanks in advance, Dewald

Hi I have questions about the form I-864 Affidavit of Support. I just married my spouse last month and just summited i-130 & I-130A. I met my spouse in US while she is on B-2 visa. I didn't want her to go back to her country and she doesn't want to overstay her visa. So we got married and file AOS. My step children (her children one of them is under 18) is living in her home country. We will apply for them. We will file i-130 for them sparsely for each. I have questions, In my spouse's I-864 Affidavit of Support Form "Part 3". should I ALSO answer item number 3 ( "I am sponsoring the following faintly members who are immigrating more than 6 months after the principal immigrant" ) apart from answer "yes" on item number 1 ("sponsoring the principal immigrant") ? I think since I can only apply I-130 for my step children now and form i-130 doesn't request form I-864 as required supporting document, I should separate the case and answer yes on number 1 is this correct? Another question on this form is Part 5. I shouldn't count 1 in Item number 3 ("if you are currently married enter "1" for your spouse") even though we are married because items number 1 to 7 are under "Person NOT sponsored in this affidavit", is it corrected? Thank you

Hello again everyone, As I have progressed to the NVC stage, pandora's box of questions has been opened. Here is the context: My wife's (USC) tax transcripts do not show the sufficient income requirement due to us having lived in Thailand for three years before beginning the immigration process. Her current job pays well over the income requirement, however tax filing for 2022 hasn't started yet. Will we need to find a joint sponsor for the affidavit of support, or can we supply pay stubs and a work contract to show that she makes enough money in the US? Thanks in advance, Dewald
