Hi there! This is my first time here. I am the beneficiary. My partner and I just got our approval notice from USCIS. I want to know how long it will take to get a case number from NVC as per processing times now. I have been reading but am still quite confused as to what NVC will require us to submit or do before we get to be contacted by the embassy. Your help and guidance is much appreciated. Thank you in advance to this community.

The K1 visa for my Fiance has been approved and issued. Trying to book the flight from Thailand to Portland, Oregon which will enter the US through SeaTac in Seattle. What i need to know from someone who has gone through the process at SeaTac is how much time is needed to be processed at The CBP location upon entering the country. Trying to ensure enough time is allotted for a connecting flight to Portland. One flight has a 2 and 1/2 hour layover before the connecting flight another has 3 and 1/2 hours. Can anyone assist us please. I will be flying with her as well.

I submitted my N-400 in May and received a notification saying no biometrics. Today i received a 797C for case type N-400 Application for Naturalization with a date and time to visit the local office. The notice says to appear before the officer regarding the application. It says I will be tested on my knowledge of government and history of the US. "You will also be tested in reading, writing, and speaking English." It says I must bring the NOA, green card, my passport, marriage certificate and spouses birth certificate. It has only been two months since I filed but this NOA seems to indicate that i will have my citizenship interview. Did other people who received the interview have a notice that said the same? Thank you

My wife became a us citizen in February, she was able to get expedited naturalization through military service. We recently received a notice from USCIS to remind us to file a form I-751 to remove conditions since her GC will expire in October. I assume this reminder was sent in error but I wanted to find out if anyone else had the same experience and if there is anything we need to do to make sure uscis knows she naturalized?

Hi there. My wife received her passport with IR1 visa in the mail today. I have a few questions: - What's the process for obtaining the actual green card once we arrive in the US? Furthermore, just to be clear, this green card is valid for 10 years (no conditions to be removed)? And after 3 years she can apply for naturalization?
- What about a SSN? We previously lived in the US and my wife was issued a social security number. Will this still be valid? Will they send a new card
