I'm a citizen, my kidsnwere born abroad.

I'm now int he usa and want to file their petitions.

What is the way fwd?

Do they need to apply for the green card?

Pr what's the process?

I asked Sandra a more detailed question, but in case someone out there has the same issue as me, I'd like them to benefit from my question, so here goes:

Applied for UVisa in 2018 so it will not be adjudicated until 2024/2025 or even 2026/2027. My lawyer says my daughter who is over 21 and a US Citizen can file Adjustment Of Status (AOS) for me even as we wait for UVisa. I did not know you can file AOS using more than 1 method at the same time. Any thoughts?

Hellow VJ friends. I currently hold a 10 years Green card (a permanent resident) I have a health concern, I am wondering if I can bring my Mother over atleast for a month after I go through a surgery because I have no one to be with after the procedure.

Any information how to go about it will be highly appreciated.

HI- My stepdaughter received her Notice of Action today (September 20). She is currently in the USA on an F-1 visa and is coming to Tanzania in May 2020 for summer break. We (her dad and I) currently live in her home country of Tanzania. What are the advantages for filing an I-485 adjustment of status to have her processed in the USA rather than having the process go through the NVC and flying her home for processing? Is there a significant cost or time difference. It seems the i-485 fees are $1,110.
