Hello, I called 1800-375-5283 expecting to get to an agent through options 1-1-2-2, but now the system has changed and I do not get those options, only a recorded voice asking me to speak my problem. I have tried all sentences I could think of, in addition to just saying "representative" over and over, no luck. After a few "automated questions" from the recording and responses from me, the system disconnects me. I need to speak to a human. Any help, please? Iza

Hello everyone! Next month (Nov. 12) I have my N400 citizenship interview (based on marriage) however, I still have my I-751 case pending. I applied to I-751 in Feb. 2019 and the last update I got was on June 2020 "we transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC-xyz , to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case." and hasn't moved since. Today I was using the live chat feature on the USCIS page and asked if perhaps I was having a combo interview on Nov. 12. The response I got was basically nothing... "Refer to your last notice" and they say that I can do the interview for citizenship, but even if I pass it, they won't make a decision until the I-751 is approved. It's like moving forward to take a step back to move forward again. I am prepared to have a combo interview, just in case, and my husband will be driving me to USCIS. However, with COVID, he can't come with me inside the building, so I am just a little worried in case I have a combo interview and the officer ask me about my husband to be present. Will I be able to call him to come in? I feel I am in a limbo here. Is anyone else in the same situation? Thank you!

Hi everyone! For those who have traveled to the US to visit his/her spouse, did you bring your marriage certificate with the Hague apostille or not? Thank you!

I am currently in the process of calling USCIS to inquire about my case, and I have noticed they've changed the automated menu. Before you could press buttons to be able to speak to a representative, and now they have done away with it. You are welcomed by a new automated system that will help with case checks and other inquiries, but if you ask to speak to a representative it will hang up on you on most cases. It took me 5 consecutive calls to be able to be connected to the representative queue. I had to try different phrases, like "transfer me to operator, transfer me to tier 2, late adjudication, emergency adjudication, please just transfer me you piece of s***," and some others. I am still waiting to speak to a representative, but I just wanted to see if anyone else has had luck with the new system.

NVC assigned the wrong embassy |

Hello, We got our I-129F approved in September. A week ago we called the NVC to get our case # and we just realized last night that it's assigned to go to a wrong embassy/consulate (to Germany instead Spain). We checked our i-129F to make sure that we picked Madrid, Spain, and everything was right. Not sure if that happened because I lived there previously, but all the information about my address and the embassy for the interview is correct in our I-129F. I already contacted them through AskNVC. Any advice?? Our NVC status is still "At NVC" but if it gets shipped, would be an option taking my interview in that embassy or will I have to request the transfer of the embassy to Spain? From what I have read, to take the interview in another country you have to be a resident of that country. Is that right? Thank you for your time!
