Just a warning - our documentation was just reviewed today (Nov 12 2021) and they noted that my husband s police clearance certificate had expired (dated August 19 2021) so it seems they do care so frustrating, since nowhere does it state how long they clearances are valid for!

I'm filling out my i751. On page 8, pt1 it says I, ____________, understand that... etc. It's talking about the USCIS ASC appointment which I assume is biometrics, but as far as I understand only I am going, not my US citizen husband, right? So in that space, would I put my name, or his? It is under the larger section Part 8 - Spouse's or individual listed ... so Id assume my spouse must put his name there, even though he will not be at biometrics?

I'm wondering how other couples dealt with the costs associated with the CR1/IR1 visa. Is this a piece of proof you showed the embassy to indicate you're an actual couple? We're just using the USC's bank account to pay for the costs as paying with a Korean account involves a lot of ID verification..

Understanding USCIS I-130 processing times |

I wanted to make sure that I am interpreting the "case processing" times correctly on the USCIS website. My I-130 is in Texas Center. It was received 8/3/2021. On USCIS, it shows that the average time to process at the TX center is between 10 to 13 months. Then under the "Receipt Date" column, it shows 10/01/2020. So does this mean, that they are backed up processing I-130 petitions to 10/1/2020, therefore the 10 to 13 months is from the 10/01/2020 date, which means add another 10 to 12 months to the posted processing time?
