US Immigration from Pakistan

Hello All,

We applied for 16 years old kids for passport directly to the State Dept. (based on parents Citizenship certificate), we received kids passport but they also requested to submit his Green Card to the USCIS as it is no more useful and need to update the record.

We do the same per request! My question is, will USCIS send anything for confirmation that they received Green Card and record is updated now, however, we sent with certified mail and return signature!

Dear friends can you tell me. Our accountant filed my wife taxes as Single. Accountant said you don't have SSN and ITIN. We apply for ITIN IRS didn't issue ITIN number. Guys what do now. We submit to embassy taxes return papers soon. Suggest me what I should do now. Accountant said you can't file as married because don't have SSN and ITIN.

In Feb of this year, we received an email from Montreal requesting updated DS 260, affidavit of support, passport, police report, medical etc

The original case status had said Refused because it was in administrative processing.

Well today we checked the case status and it's changed and has us concerned!

I already have my attorney working on an updated affidavit of support because my mom just passed away and she was the sponsor but now this message is concerning and it contradicts the email we received requesting the documents.

We have been pretty confident since Feb thinking we finally got this if they're requesting the passport.

A little background...this is an old case that was originally refused but reinstated, changed embassies, got hardship waiver approved now finally wrapping things up.

Anyone know what this message means???

My mother is already in USA and still waiting for her green card. She has i-551 on her visa for 1 year. She want to travel Denmark to meet her daughter. I wonder if she can apply for it or not? Her nationality is Pakistani and currently she is in USA.

What would be process of applcation. I have checked the list. they are asking about bank statement while she isnt working in USA and she is 66 yeard old and livng with her son in USA

So my husband and I filed the NVC part and are waiting on their response but I was curious once they approve everything how long will we be waiting for his interview? His interview will be in Islamabad, Pakistan. My sister in law's sister in law ( sorry for the confusion) is not a US citizen and applied for her husband and has been waiting over a year for an interview. I'm hoping my husband will get his right away since I am a US citizen. I'm just curious about other people's timelines
