US Immigration from Pakistan

Hello Everyone,

Ive recently just joined visajourney, and am excited to share my story/process and engage with you all.

Background Info:

I am a US born citizen and I will be traveling from the US to Pakistan iA in January of 2021 for my wedding ceremony. You can call it an arranged marriage, but I have been talking to my soon to be wife for some time now through texting. I had initially planned to go to Pakistan earlier this year in January of 2020 to meet for the first time and have an engagement ceremony, but we had to cancel due to a sudden death in the family. After cancelling the engagement we decided to move forward straight to the wedding in order to prevent any more further delaying.

I plan on filing for her IR1 visa immediately after the wedding in January so that we have good evidence to submit along with everything.

What is the process after submitting the I-130 Form, and what is the estimated time in between each step?

What is the overall estimated time from start to finish to get this visa considering COVID-19?

What sort of advice would you give me considering my story/situation?

my case is in administrative process in ISB pakistan waiting for consular officer to accept documents i uploaded everything they requested for on january 16 2020 they wanted new joint sponsor i uploaded right away same sponsor but his recent tax etc now i am scared what if they ask me for 2019 transcripts nd i864 again should i upload it now or wait for them to ask me ?? Please let me know thank you

My family member immigrant visa expired due to travel restrictions. Can anyone please tell me if they have applied for a reissue of expired immigrant visa in the F2b family-based immigration recently at Islamabad, Pakistan embassy and got it. How long did it take to get the reissue after applying.

Hi Member,

So i am filing N400 , fulfills the residency requirement of five years.

I have made multiple trips out of country but there are two trips which i took in one year both around 5 1/2 months long back to back (between these trips just came to usa for 10 days). Is this is a problem to meet continuous residency requirement? My understanding is you cannot stay out of country more than six months, if under six months then its good. These trips i made first year as i have to take care of some stuff back home. Please advice thanks
