Hello everyone,

I applied for CR1 for my wife who has since been through NVC and gotten DQ'd some months back. We are now awaiting the embassy to open for our interview. In the meantime, we have now (just by tomorrow, in fact) will have our 2 year anniversary. Does this mean our application transitions from CR1 to an IR1? Do we have to do anything for this? Should I contact NVC, etc? What is the process for the transition?

Thank you!

I have applied for CR1. My wife she resides in USA and currently living with her parents. We have added her brother (unmarried) as household member. All the documents are submitted and accepted but we still got a case FE review note that "Please upload and submit (her brothers name) most recent IRS transcript 2019. A transcript can be obtained on the IRS's website: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript. If you were not required to file a tax return, submit an explanation for not filing. If you filed a joint-income tax return, please also submit your corresponding W-2s/1099."

Now i don't know where to upload this transcript document . Either we have to add it in "Additional AOS Supporting Documentation" under the household member role or somewhere else because all the other documents are accepted and cannot be edited.

Your help in this regard will be appreciated

Hi All,

I m a male US citizen married to a Pakistani national on January 14, 2020. We were blessed with a baby boy on Oct 10, 2020. So, We decided to report the birth of our child at US consulate office in Islamabad on Oct 20, 2020.

I had a previous marriage for which I got the divorce notice on Dec 3, 2019 but as per Pakistani law they gave 90 days reconciliation period so, the effective date for my divorce written on the Divorce certificate is March 02, 2020.

I married to my second wife after I got the divorce notice date which was Dec 03, 2019. But at the time of CBRA, consulate officer told me that your effective divorce date is after your marriage registration date with second wife so you have to report child as out of wedlock. I m worried now will that effect on the immigration process for my second wife, although I didn t took any immigration benefit for my first wife.

what should I do now, Please help me on this. I don t want to get myself and my family in a difficult situation. Please guide...

Hello everyone. I need advice or clarification for my friend. In May 2019, he submitted a petition to K1, the documents were approved in August. The interview was in December, but the visa was refused and immediately after that they broke up. He was friends on the Internet with another a girl and they decided to meet her. In February they met and he realized that she was the person he wanted to be with. In June 2020, he filed a new petition. The question is in several parts. He attached a letter to the petition that the past relationship was over. but didn t indicate to drop IMBRA. Will he get an RFE? And in September on the CEAC website he saw that the old case was touched again. Tell me if anyone knows why? Before submitting a new K1, he called USCIS they said that if the ex-fianc e did not receive a visa and did not come, then he can safely submit a new petition and there are no problems, but he is very worried that his petition may be canceled. Please help with advice. Thanks to everyone who answers.
