At the interview she was asked to complete the missing question on DS 260, there was one question was not checked . she corrected the DS260. The CO checked her civil original documents, nothing else. At the interview CO asked her few question about me . she answer them no problem there. after the interview ,she was given 221 g form , Her passport, wedding pictures and her original divorce certificate from previous marriage were kept. since then , we have not heard anything. CEAC status sucked on REFUSED since then. This is our 2nd marriage both of us.can you guys share your input on this . it been almost three months now.

ASKING FOR A FRIEND!! Hello everyone! I am asking this question on behalf of my friend, S and her husband, A. S & A got married in January 2018, and filed for CR1 in May 2018 through a lawyer. Then, in May 2019, A had his interview at ISLAMABAD Embassy and he got a 221g slip and they asked for tax transcripts, W-2, and chats but kept his passport. Then in July 2019, S physically went to embassy in Pakistan to ask on update and they said they have all the documents and its in process and will take a few weeks to months. the CEAC said its under administrative processing. Then, she kept contacting the embassy and involved the local senator twice too, and they got the same reply, "it's in process." until today, its the same status on the website and embassy won't give her any update on the case if her documents are accepted or not. Then after a long wait in Sept 2020, she tried finding another lawyer to see what can be done about her case because it's out of normal processing time. When the new lawyer checked with the NVC, she discovered that the old lawyer had not signed his "preparer" section/ put his appearance as a lawyer initially while filing the case and that NVC had reopened her case after being at embassy for so long. also, they discovered the lawyer had also missed questions about terrorism on the DS260 form. Now... they also discovered another issue with A's name on passport (only one name apparently)... So, now, the new lawyer gave her presence in the application, sent more pictures of the couple, and more evidence about her marriage to the NVC via email... and waiting for NVC's reply... (current status) this is such a messed up situation for them. What should she do in this case? Should she re-apply her application or appeal or what? please give serious suggestions/opinions/ advice and share what can be done to speed her process... its been almost 3 years since she got married and he's in AP since 18 months now post interview... She is really depressed and doesn't know what do.... please help. thanks... @sm2397

Hi everyone, So I m approaching 6 months since my last entry into the USA on my green card in January and am not entirely comfortable flying in the midst of a pandemic. Is it okay if I exceed my 6-month period and enter at a later stage like March when things are relatively settled? Just wanted to get peoples opinion here. Thanks!
