US Immigration from Pakistan

My husband and I live in Canada and I am the US citizen. Our case has been going on for about 10 years but Finally we used an attorney and filed an i601 hardship waiver that got approved in 3 months. We just got notified last week. My concern now is will they require me to be employed in the US before they issue the visa? We had a consular interview a few years ago and they mentioned we need an approved waiver and I need job in us to show my intentions to return.

Getting a job there while I'm sitting in Canada is not so easy especially during covid.

Hi , I live abroad on student visa. My passport is with embassy and my student visa expires on February 2021. My case is going through AP and interview was on November 4,2020. I called consular and asked her if I can expect my case completion before my visa expires. She was frustrated and told me I can take my passport and renew student visa. She misunderstood me. I don t want to pick up my passport. If I don t go to pick up my passport, you think this inquiry can go against my case decision.? I still have almost 2 months for visa renewal. Did I make mistake to call them ?? I am worried Your answer will be highly appreciated.

hello. can someone give me some info about registration in traveldocs in US embassy pakistan to collect my passport through courier service.actually i have applied for visit visa to US few year back and made my profile in traveldocs. and now i have my interview in few days and i need to make my profile again there and they website say,my data is already in their data base.before this i applied for visit visa through an NGO and their HR made my profile there but now i want to give my own email ID to get register on traveldocs. what should i do now? i cant make profile until the first saved date they delete. kindly help me i am so worried about it.if i call them,will the delete my data?

I Just submit the NVC Documents and Documents are approved by NVC and please let me know how much they will take time to Schedule my interview. My visa category is Spouse Visa (IR1). Is there anyone who attend the interview these days at Islamabad Embassy. PLEASE ADVISE

My husband recently traveled to Karachi, Pakistan on an expired 10 year green card without realizing it. When he tried returning after 3 week trip-he was denied boarding. We contacted US Consulate in Karachi. Were told to apply for "Transportation Boarding Foil" which we did through their website and paid the $575 Dollar fee to USCIS website After a lot of emails we were told to make an appointment online and someone will call us. We weren't able to make the appointment , No one picks up the phone at Consulate. Everthing is done via email. So were being told it could take up to a year for this process and were better off just applying for a visa instead. Once he's in US then he can apply for green card renewal. Does anyone know if this would be the correct way to go about this situation? Should we hire a immigration lawyer? Were getting conflicted information. I am a US citizen. He's in dire situation as he has his job to return to&support his family.
