US Immigration from New Zealand

Hi everyone!

I've been in the US now for 2 weeks and have been a bit confused about what my insurance options are. It seems that I can't get normal travel insurance since I now 'reside' in the US (unless I just say that I reside/am a resident of NZ [I technically am haha]), and I can't get on my partner's health insurance til we're married, and the only other option is to pay like $300+ a month. Do you guys have any tips or recommendations? I'm currently considering doing the travel insurance since it'll be the cheapest, and in some ways I guess I'm legally sort of a 'visitor', so, that works out in my head. But let me know cos I also don't wanna do something wrong haha!

We re finalizing our AOS packet to send in after K1 marriage.

I think I ve checked and rechecked everything sufficiently, but I also want to be sure I have the correct address for USCIS from a Wisconsin address; and that the check is made out to the correct entity.

Is the attached screenshot the correct send in address?

And do we make our the check for $1225 to Homeland Security?

We submitted AOS and IV fees on August 3rd and it still says "In Process." We submitted an inquiry yesterday to help coax the fee through approval. Is anyone else having this issue? Anything else we can do to push it through?

Hi, I am in the process of completing the I-129 form and have a question about the address history for the past 5 years. I have lived at my current address technically since 2018 to now, however I also moved for one year to the U.S.A from 2019-2020 on a J1 visa. I have put both addresses however I am wondering if it will look confusing if I state I have lived at my overseas address since 2018 but then have a U.S address that I lived at from 2019-2020. How should I format this?

We have received notice from the NZ consulate informing us that:

"This office has received the approved I-129F petition filed by your U.S. citizen fianc from the USCIS. You are now entitled to apply for a K-1 visa. To complete the DS-260, you need the Invoice ID Number and each traveling applicant s Beneficiary ID Number from the Notice to Applicant page of your NVC appointment letter."

Would the NVC appointment letter have come via email or mail? We are unclear on the next steps and how to proceed to pay for the DS-260 as we don't have an Invoice ID Number nor Beneficiary ID number. What are we missing?
