US Immigration from New Zealand

Help!!! I m in the process of having restrictions/conditions removed on my green card.

We ve been married almost four years and have filed for removal of conditions but it s held up in processing.

i have to urgently travel on Wednesday from NC to New Zealand as both my elderly parents are very unwell. My Dad is terminal. My mother cannot be alone as she is housebound.

i cannot find my daughters or my green cards.

i have torn the house apart twice. I ve bee. Searching for days and I cannot find them.

I HAVE to travel and I m desperate in need of some advice.

U.S. citizen petitioner here. Spouse is a Turkish national. I-130 was filed online in December 2024. No approval of anything yet, no NVC case, no DS-260, and obviously no interview. Just the initial receipt notice. I'm considering withdrawing because we ended up moving to New Zealand together instead, and plan to live here for the foreseeable future.

Will withdrawing now affect future US visa applications? Also, is it considered a " visa refusal" for immigration purposes?

If anyone has firsthand experience with withdrawing before USCIS approval, would love to hear what your confirmation looked like and whether it affected later filings.

there's seems to be conflicting opinions on this, so please forgive me for asking a stupid question. as the beneficiary [from new zealand] who has no criminal history here or in australia, do i need to provide police clearance with the i129f packet or at the interview or both? i suppose it's better to provide it with the i129f packet?

I just got to Greece on holiday and realized I bought my 48month extension letter (i797) but not the expired green card. How necessary is the expired card?
