US Immigration from New Zealand

I lived in Canada for 2 years (2016 2018) and I m now applying for the K1 visa. I m unsure whether I need to provide a Canadian criminal record check or if getting just the NZ one will be enough.

I tried to google but I'm quite confused about how to get it. Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Curious if anyone else is has an N-400 processing (or recently completed) at the Portland, OR FO and would like to share updates to help pass the time!

My husband filed under the 3-year rule on October 10, 2025 and completed biometrics in November. Waiting for our next update.

As the title states;

I had my citizenship interview last week and at the conclusion of the interview the officer said I was approved and I received the piece of paper with the approval check marked.

I logged into my uscis online account today and the status still shows Interview Interview was Scheduled .

Is this normal? I would ve thought the status would ve updated already?

Does anyone know if we can do the medical exam with an approved physician in Australia and have it sent to the US consulate in Auckland New Zealand?

My fiance is living/working in australia right now but we re doing everything through the Auckland consulate and we were wondering if he could do the medical exam in australia and have them send it to the Auckland consulate.

I (US citizen) submitted an I-130 petition online with my wife (Turkish citizen) as the beneficiary in December 2024. At the time of filing, we were living together in Turkey.

We moved to New Zealand earlier this year. A couple of days ago, I submitted a request to update my address in myUSCIS account to reflect our new address. Before this update, the myProgress tab estimated 12 months until a decision. I checked just now, and the address change has been processed, but the estimated wait time in myProgress has jumped to 23 months.

I am extremely upset by this, as I had no idea that simply changing my own address would send the petition to the back of the queue.

That said, what's done is done, and I'd like to move things along correctly going forward. My main question is: aside from the address change in myUSCIS, are there other steps I need to take to ensure the case is properly transferred from the US Embassy in Ankara to the Consulate in Auckland? I have updated my address, but is there some procedure for updating my wife's address? We live together, but my understanding is that USCIS does not assume this.

I want to make sure the interview eventually gets scheduled in the right country. Pretty much all of the resources I found online were regarding the NVC stage, post I-130 approval. I'd like to know if there's anything we can do now, at this stage of the process, to ensure our correct address is reflected across all systems.
