US Immigration from Morocco

Question for anyone who might know:

I see that the deadline to obtain a REAL ID will be in May. Trying to figure out if my husband needs one or not for international flights, specifically when returning to the U.S. He is a LPR, plastic green card expired in November and he has his extension letter extending his status here as a LPR while he waits for his I-751 to be processed. He has a foreign passport. He usually travels internationally once a year, will he need a REAL ID to fly back home to the U.S. or will he just need to show the extension letter and expired green card with the foreign passport to board a flight to return?

He can get a REAL ID if needed, but did not want to have to go through the process unless it was necessary when returning to the U.S.

We are under the impression that the REAL ID is for domestic flights only, but I wanted to verify and make sure he didn't get stuck somewhere.

While on the topic, are you able to use an international passport for domestic flights are the May 7th deadline as well? Or would a REAL ID be needed?

So my question is, I m trying to do CR1 visa for My Wife from Morocoo just I need to know what we need step-by-step and also what the paper works we need for both. Thank you.

Hello and happy new year! My husband s AOS was adjudicated 6 weeks shy of our 2nd year anniversary. We were surprised to see he was granted a 10-year card. I had read on here previously that if you don t qualify for it, it doesn t matter if you get it. We decided to wait to deal with the issue by just applying for ROC when his card should expire. His application has already been mailed in with the last page for extra info explaining the incorrectly issued green card.

I just had a thought that maybe his card should have been sent in as well, instead of just a copy. But I m pretty sure this idea is a terrible one as he will need his card. I came here in the hope I could find some posts in the forums about what others have done in this situation. But I m either terrible at searching or not seeing anything.

Can anyone point me in the direction of information about applying for ROC with a 10-year green card? Thank you!

Hello I applied the I-130 for my wife on October 26 and case is being reviewed on December 7th Now it displays 6 months for the time frame

Hi Everyone, we married recently and I had a couple of questions . I recently enrolled my husband to my health insurance and the good thing is we don't need a SSN but I wanted to ask if the government will make us pay a fee if he does not have a social and he has insurance or how does that work ? Also , we also need to file the i 485 and was wondering if there are any vaccine records we have to submit as when he went for his medical exam in Morocco the doctor did not administer all the vaccines since it would be too much with the covid shot he had taken. Are the vaccines done after his approval or how would that work. Currently we are a little frustrated that the wait time for this application is 15-18 months. Does anyone have experience with how long it takes for processsing this ?
